Funny enough I just went to the feild museum and saw the Native truths exhibit.
The fact this person has to come on and tell people this because people are still too blind to see. They really are the last line of defense and they do know what they are doing when it comes to cultivating and protecting nature.

“We can all become guardians of mother earth…”

I wonder how much CO2 emissions the jet is responsible for that brought her to where she made that speech ????

Probably not as much as so many other unnecessary but mundane things do. Maybe her speeches don’t work at all, but at least it’s a attempt and a message that should be heard. Not?

It’s not really helpful to discredit someone by appealing to hypocrisy though is it. Otherwise nobody would have the right to talk about anything

    • Fankled Wisdom

      March 22, 2023 at 12:00 am

Wow, you’re comparing her one trip to potentially influence others to the countless people who abuse jets. You’re taking away her point and distracting from the issue at hand.

Earning money is an action. Keeping money is behavior, but “growing money is wisdom.” I found this out a week ago after getting a $10,000 return on my $3,000 investment in 7 days.

The relationship between farmers and the sun just got an upgrade #TEDTalks

She shares how one simple device allowed her crops (and her dreams) to flourish — and offers a glimmer of hope in the face of growing climate uncertainty.

Design consultant Virginia Santy set out to create an office space built specifically for women, flipping the script on the subtle (and not-so-subtle) ways that workplaces and cities still fail them. The results were striking: greater productivity, deeper collaboration and an environment where women felt genuinely valued, leading her to ask a simple question: What would the world look like if we designed with women in mind?
