I feel like this phone only makes sense for people that like to use skins on their phones. Once I put my bulky case in this, It takes away from the point of having a thinner phone

A thin phone with a case is still thinner (and lighter) than a thick phone with a case, but yeah the no-case people will appreciate this phone even more.

The point of this phone is to be an Apple iPhone 17 Pro (non-Max) competitor in a thin light body similar to the iPhone Air but with ‘Ultra specs’ & titanium build. Where the Air is gonna be a thin baseline device replacing the Plus. If you compare battery size and battery life to the standard iPhone Pro it makes more sense. It’s not meant to be the best battery, it’s meant to give you the best specs in a more compact size just like the iPhone Pro (non-Max), the Ultra gives you the best battery life if you’re a power user just like with Apple the Pro Max does that.

I dont get it, as samsung already had “edge” displays going on until s21. And those phones are still the thinnest I had seen.
