It does…but it’s a right pain in the hole to set up as far as I remember.

Plug and play. It just works. No downloads, no extra software, no additional hardware in between. Easy!

Those glasses are atrocious.. massive frames and prescription lens inserts!?.. nah, I’ll wait for the Meta Orions to be finalized for consumers production.. these look like something I’d expect 6 years ago. We have Wave guide displays in 2026 Xreal, try catching up.

I’ve seen the presenter, Scott Stein, discuss his need for glasses while using AR/XR/VR devices before. I noticed in the video that this device had insertable lenses in them, and if I recall correctly, in his last video about the XReal glasses, they offer prescription lenses when you buy the product.

      January 4, 2026 at 8:04 pm

I have a slightly different problem. I’m completely blind in one eye and 75%+ blind in the other. I have never gotten answer to whether this type of product can accommodate my particular vision needs.

    January 4, 2026 at 12:07 pm

1:18 at least with the original switch you can slide the joycons on without them snapping in with VR glasses. Pretty weird that Nintendo software locks a system that’s meant to be modular.

  13. @vendictawhitford488

    January 4, 2026 at 12:17 pm

did this guy say anything about 2D to 3D for switch games ?

  14. @SuperStriderX

    January 4, 2026 at 1:12 pm

Will this dock work with other AR glasses? I bought. Rokid MAX glasses and they don’t work with the Switch 2 using their hub solution. These things are too expensive to just buy another pair and glasses ecosystem.

  15. @TheLinkedOne

    January 4, 2026 at 2:27 pm

I hope Nintendo doesn’t do a firmware update to break this.
