I got a Series S preordered already at gamestop with my deposit and tomorrow I’m buying the Series X off Ebay. I’m not fighting the hassle of waiting in line and all that craziness. I already own a One X, OG XB1… and i will be keeping the Series S, I’m keeping all the machines

Just review the current version, not inflate the video with historical account of Xbox. Or are u saying, it’s decent now cos it does not suck like previous versions?

Also this is just a repackage of other video summaries. If there is no content, don’t force it

What about the excellent payment plan that bundles XBox with Gamepass. You could consider game pass free, or the console free. It’s 2 McD meals a month!

Did MS paid every reviewer to sale their expansion storage ? Seagate Maxtor z1 480gb ssd + adata xpg enclosure = 60 euro move games fast from internal ssd to external and viceversa/ play bkcomp games from external … im thinkin why this reviewers dont talk about this and just fed people to buy the 210 euro solution

      November 5, 2020 at 4:33 pm

it wont work only Microsoft own brand Will work

    • Armix

      November 5, 2020 at 4:36 pm

@aaron yes it works to move even enhanced games to external drive and when you wanna play them just swap from external to internal. You can keep the internal drive only for enhanced games and play backcomp from external

Dang that PS5 is one big boah. Will wait for the slimmed down version. For now i’m getting the series S for 3rd party next gen games

      here’s mine: (i own both)
xsx: fastest console ever, but not really that different
ps5: same thing as xbox but better exclusives – no gamepass or gameshare

between xsx and ps5 i prefer the series x, but i would pick up the ps5 over the series s

It’s a crying shame Xbox when you buy the new Xbox you can play the games but if you only download this one thing that you don’t know about you can’t play movies that’s pretty bad you pay outrageous money for these machines and the old ones you can play movies and the games what happened Rockstar you’re getting cheap again I mean there’s nothing wrong with giving us that let’s watch movies on the machine too and fix it where we would have to have internet I mean come on some people can’t afford internet

I think the only major downside of the series S is the storage capacity. For that reason, I’m going for the X.

  18. LORDE 2729

    November 5, 2020 at 9:34 pm

I care about cross play in games now. I don’t care about exclusives. I just want to play the game in peace regardless of which platform my friends are playing in. Sony better not be a stumbling block regarding that this Gen. I’d they do we boycott ps5

Kinect 2 was phenomenal. I played a lot of games with my oldest daughter, wife and other family members; especially during the Holidays! Thanks to the many wining man children for pushing them to get rid of this.

The series s is a gimmick! How can you call it next gen when the last gen console(one x) is more powerful 4 tflops for the series s vs 6 tflops one x?

  29. JR Auto

    November 6, 2020 at 5:51 am

I still play the Xbox360 e console. But i think the Xbox series s would be a good upgrade for me. ???????? ????

All this hate on s because of storage and resolution…….I guarantee the s will be a hot seller.

optical is not the ideal output for audio anyway.

    • james

Coax or usb audio is a lot better

  34. itsGuy

    November 6, 2020 at 2:24 pm

Give us a disc drive with the S… Plz. Make it $399 CDN and series x stay $599. That $200 gap is worth it if you don’t care about 4k and still have older gen games on disc

  35. Charles Colunga

    November 6, 2020 at 11:17 pm

OMG I just preordered and Xbox series x… controller ????

    November 7, 2020 at 4:12 am

the problsm of this consoles is there is no so much variety of games…

  38. Flinstone01

    November 7, 2020 at 6:43 am

That’s a very good way to put it. Everyone upgrades phones every year and those are $1000 so $500 for a console every 7 years, we shouldn’t have a problem with it, even if you wanna add more storage later. Just wish you can add any nvme on ps5 cause some gen 3 2tb ones are like $220. Gen 4 2tb ones are around $400

Dumb that IGN gave it an 8. 9 at least. What more could you want besides exclusive games?

  41. reviewfor thetube

    November 8, 2020 at 3:08 am

Ok so why would you tell someone ok buy the Xbox one s which is 1440p when you can get the Xbox one X for the same price now the new one thats 500 to me is worth getting over the S especially if the S is already 300 and if you don’t want to then go find you an older X like the 300 dollar S imo is a no go as for now but when the price drops even more then I’ll be like ok its worth getting now lol

Hiya. Have been a longtime Playstation gamer but plan on getting the new Xbox Series S just for its streaming (via Game Pass Unlimited and Xbox Live Gold games) as im Interested with games like Ryse, Soul Calibur 6 and Gears of War. And with EA Play incoming Would you recommend this console for streaming? Will it improve the game visuals or hasten loading times? (N.B. I have a brand new Hisense 4K HDR+ TV with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos). Please help. Cheers.
