Luck (good luck) is where preparation and opportunity come together. Neither alone has the same effect. Assuming opportunity comes equally to all, the determinant then is preparation.

Ideas have positive and negative impacts, a bad idea is one that has more negative impacts than positive, but like everything, that’s subjective and a bad idea for one person could be a good idea for another, it’s all subjective, and is also true in the opposite. For example it’s a good idea for companies to increase profits so that they can grow their company, but it’s a bad idea from the perspective of consumers I’d they do this by raising prices. Key is seeing ideas from different angles and trying to judge if they’re worthwhile.

Actually, I would say her definition applies to “opportunities”, for which she discusses the openness you need to be able to perceive and ‘catch’.the opportunities given to you along your path.

No luck. You need to turn to God. The world is showing how bad it has gone..because God was remved from everywhere. People want to do life without him…until…they are down in the dumps and nowhere to go…they call on Him…or they are so sucessful and rich but depressed and lonely.. then the call on Him.
No such thing as luck in this world.
