Like everything else, expectations vs reality. The lottery itself for the masses people aren’t prepared for it. They think they are but aren’t as parasites comes out and feast. You will be overwhelmed, depression, anxiety, addiction might be one of a strategies to cope. Many falls worse off than before the win. Bankruptcies and suicidal ideation might be a possibility outcome. 😢😢😢😢😢😢 in the end lottery prey on the poor and winning it the prey is cannibalistic feast on by the people that once loved and friendship ends in heartbreak. 😢😢😢😢😢😢 its a double end sword.

[Quran 5:90-91] O you who believe, intoxicants, and gambling, and the altars of idols, and the games of chance are abominations of the devil; you shall avoid them, that you may succeed. The devil wants to provoke animosity and hatred among you through intoxicants and gambling, and to distract you from remembering GOD, and from observing the Contact Prayers (Salat). Will you then refrain?

The problem is other people. You need to get away from them. You need annonimity. The publicity is the issue. Buy a gated mansion with cameras and pay for bodyguards for a while.

Lottery winner in Switzerland is neither disclosed nor filmed. It’s crazy that they film winners in UK.

@Murph_82 many places like the usa (not sure about UK) require public disclosure to avoid claims of rigging.

Man, the audio mix of this presentation is TERRIBLE. The eruptive response of the crowd (that clearly doesn’t match the fleeting shots of the audience) COMPLETELY takes away from the content.

Best argument to spend your lottery ticket money on something useful instead. As they say: lotteries are a tax for people who can’t do mathematics.

Here in the UK most of the money raised by the lottery goes to some amazing Charites and alot is spent on sports and athletics so it’s not a complete waste and yes the government get their usual cut.

There was a lotto winner here who then met a woman and she moved in with him. Then she murdered him and the primary reason the murder was discovered is because his family called the police after demanding money from him for so long without getting a response.
