Why are these types of videos even a thing? I mean really, who cares. And those that really do care need to do some real evaluation.

the ios homescreen was always an app drawer idk why people are calling the new app library a “app drawer” when the ios homescreen was literally a app drawer, now its a smart app drawer with widgets

Andy Rubin worked for Apple before , didn’t he ?

So the question should be : what Rubin stole from Apple ?

The answer is : Everything except what his company has stolen from Oracle Java.

With the iOS 14 update, INSTEAD of making Siri better, Apple made it easier to access Google Assistant. 🤔
I am HOPING this is a sign that Google is inching 🐛 into Apple 🍎 to release….

Google Play Edition iPhone (gPhone) 😈

Stole or copy? Both copies from each other so why bother?

  18. Tristan Goddard

    June 29, 2020 at 11:27 pm

I wouldn’t say they are copying Android (I am an Android user, Galaxy phones since the S3) all of these things have come from other places long before Android, but they are just finally giving into common sense rather than sticking their noses up and sticking to their guns just to be “Apple”.
While my phones have always been Android, my tablets have always been Apple, since the 1st gen iPad, I have tried Android tablets but they just feel so… cheap? Software wise anyway.
The reason Apple stands out from Android, the reason apps always look and work better, is because Apple devices are standardised, when they design iOS they know exactly what every phone has, they are pretty much all the same, but with Android there are hundreds of different handsets with different processors, cameras, screen sizes, resolution, notch placements and hundreds of other unique aspects that a single software designed to work on everything has to take into account and if you look at it from an app developers point of view, it’s daunting! So if you make an app for Android you work on optimising the app for the leading flagships and just slap something together for everything else, whereas with iOS, you know exactly what you’re working with as there aren’t that many variations. The phrase “jack of all trades, master of none” is the perfect descriptor here.
I am warming up to switching to iPhone, but the one thing I have been holding out for, for years now, is expandable memory. The day they bring out an iPhone with a memory card slot, will be they day I switch over, which will mean replacing my Galaxy watch and buds as well.

It’s kinda sad how apple has fallen. I remember when Apple took shots at Android during a presentation now look at them copying old Android apps. At one time what made Apple who they are was their features feels like now they’re playing catch-up

I remember using my friend’s Vivo phone, and I can’t believe how much Vivo copied iOS, not just the aesthetic design, but animations and behavior of the U.I. elements such as the toggle switches. I was amazed. iOS’s new app drawer reminds me of Huawei’s EMUI, that too is heavily influenced by iOS. Now iOS looks like EMUI because of the new app drawer feature.

Apple is just giving the people what they asked for (for a change).
It’s also a good way to appeal to those former Android users who had switched and missed those features and those who are thinking of switching.

Android fans: omg I don’t like iOS because it’s locked down. No widgets, no PiP, Choice to not use native apps like Mail, safari etc…

    Finally Apple enables those function.
Android fans: omg Apple stole from android. Android been have these options for years.
Lol it’s like y’all want Apple to implement things just to turn around and say they still. What features did y’all expect from iOS 14 that’s not from another OS. Features on phones have reached their peak and all they will do is recycle features and also take from each other. I’m sure android will steal text message pinning ( have your favorite people or the people you talk to the most on top something Apple just added on iOS 14)

[ if you guys really wants to know something informative then read this. Don’t skip it by seeing its length. Its cool😎]
Video’s title : what Apple copied from android. 🙄
Me : what about android ?😑 It is copying Apple from years 🤔🤔
Here the revolutionary things which Apple gives to the world👉🏻👉🏻 👉🏻👉🏻👉🏻
    1. First mobile without keypad buttons by introducing multi touch. (before 1st iphone every phone has an keypad. Iphone is the first touch screen phone. )
    2. Fingerprint sensor lock
    3. A.I. (siri). After this only every mobile company has A.I.s in thier phone like google assistant.
    4. Face Id lock
    5. First time full screen display.
(Now some will say its not full screen. There is an annoying notch at the top. Let me tell you most of the well known companies copied that notch too in first time. )
    6. 3d touch ( now it uses haptic touch )
    7. Removing headphone jack from mobiles and adding lighting cable for both charger and earphones.
( some android phones start doing same thing with their phone )
    8. Car unlock with iphone. ( which can only be think by apple’s engineers. I dont think android will ever had this feature before apple )
    9. Android also copied some of the ways ios worked or looked. like today view on the first page , home screen search/spotlight search etc.
    10. Back tap
    11. And obviously i forget the new picture in picture and app clip 😄😄
    12. Widgets are always their in apple’s today view. they just shift them to home screen.
( fun fact : android copy widgets from mac 😁)
Other than iphones. Apple also gives amazing things in their other products also.
Now ? What will you guys say ?
    😈😈😈
Note: just told you some cool facts. that apple will always be best.
If apple didnt invent some of these features like touch screen , A.I. in phones etc. then imagine who behind we were then today. 😤😤

An invite for a virtual Apple event appeared in our inbox this morning for May 7 at 7am PT/10am ET.
