I don’t know where you live, but in my American city (PNW area) there is plastic litter pretty much everywhere in the urban areas, and I can find quite a bit it out in the bigger parks as well. And I’m pretty sure our area is still better than some other places in the US.

IT IS A LIE! WE KNOW IT. DONT FOOL US ANY MORE. Plastic eating bacteria can’t be used, because if it spreads everywhere it will eat all plastic including the ones we need. And, it can’t destroy plastic, it will just break it up. The only solution is STOPPING PRODUCING PLASTIC. Abolish oil companies, stop producing unnecessary single use plastic items. Use refill machines!! I hate your propaganda msf

You sound like people arguing about the idea that flying will never happen, or bathrooms shouldn’t be used by womben, or blacks, or gays, or trans…evolution starts with a vision, a dream, & active steps towards those goals.
You might be right that some already created plastics have not been found to work… but we KNOW CORN PLASTICS DO! We KNOW HEMP PLASTICS DO! We know there are organisms being bio-engineered to break down EXISTING PLASTICS in Japan & other places as we communicate right now.
Your solution is A SOLUTION, but to fight the oil product pollution, it will take MORE THAN ONE SOLUTION!
Act Local, think Global, & remember every single GOLD MEDAL OLYMPIAN fell or floundered along their path to the ACCOMPLISHING THEIR GOAL, and a WORLD DREAM! 🐛🦋

Sand and Silica is are among the Most abundant things on the Planet!
Glass is Made from this…
We need to eliminate Plastic and Convert back to Glass!
If we get our sand and silica strategically; we can Lower the Sea Levels and Clean up the Plastic at the same time.
Plastic Must go because it is Invasive to the Human Body and ALL Living Creatures!!!!
