If we all thought alike there would be a lot of unnecessary people.

Because we’re not. We’re not connected. We’re more disconnected than we’ve ever been before.

The internet connection is only a virtual one! It has its place in our society, but the connection does not have physical impact. We are human beings that need physical touching to be part of our connection to each other! It has been a need since the very beginning of humanity! To not have physical contact, is to be lonely!
This communication we are having while participating in the comment sections of YouTube, and other communications platforms, cannot include acts like shaking hands, pats on the back, hugs, kisses, hand holding, carresses, slaps, and so on!
There was a time when I was beaten up by gangs of bullies, but the one bad feeling I never had about that was loneliness! I did not feel lonely from being a target for bullies! I at least was getting some type of physical attention, even though it was not good physical attention! Loneliness comes from the lack of physical attention and contact; and in that case, it does not matter what type of contact it is, so long as it is physical!
Funny how the human mind and psyche work!

It’s a simulation of friendship snd connections. It creates that illusion by simulating friendships that don’t require you to meet up in person. That’s why there is a disconnection with online connections.

The big problem with this Best Friends and everyone else is when those “Best Friends” move on. Which they do, especially when they physically move to a different state or country. Then you end up like me, where I have good friends and we chat once in a while but outside that I spend all my time alone.

Come on gringos! Of course. It is obvious. There are plenty of studies that show that relationships are the most important aspect in life and also studies that show that to strengthen and grow relationships time and effort (values lack in in todays American culture) are needed.
Just burst you bubble America, look around.
