Do not bother. Install a game emulator onto your computer. Its free.

      November 12, 2021 at 9:18 pm

You’re missing the point completely. Plenty of ppl have zero interest in emulation.

I find the lite game & watch with jedi acedemy more dope
They could have released a combo to defeat the emulators qt 1 time
The Pokémon version probably gonna sell pretty good

Such a favorable and affordable gaming platform to enjoy classic titles without paying extra money just like the system in a smartphone app.

    • R Mo

      November 12, 2021 at 7:17 pm

Of course you can get a decent emulator handheld for 50-60 with way more games but this is more for nostalgia.

    • Retro Empire

      November 13, 2021 at 12:58 am

Okay What about Nes Classic Snes Classic nintendo switch Online it is also emulator. Evercade has at least one mini Catridge. They could at least put all Nes games and Game & watch.

  9. Darren Dyson

    November 12, 2021 at 4:49 pm

No need for a handheld device right now when phones are going the way they are going. It would be good for Sony to do it again though.

I was thinking the same thing, especially considering I can play super mario bros on my switch for $4.99

This is cool! NOW if they did a Pokémon version with the Red x Blue ????????????????

    • Blehstor

There was a Zelda game and Watch game! Why was it not on this???

    • Blehstor

      November 12, 2021 at 6:48 pm

      cause it had dual screens

    • David Black

      November 12, 2021 at 10:21 pm

@Blehstor if only we hadn’t lost our before times dual screen technology in the big boom boom.

    • Blehstor

      November 12, 2021 at 10:36 pm

@David Black i dont think investing in a dual screen device just to emulate a game&watch is smart

    • David Black

      November 12, 2021 at 10:54 pm

@Blehstor we are talking about an emulator for 3 very old games and people are spending 50 on it not the wisest use of money. I think when the dual screen OG Zelda game and watch is $800 (USD) on eBay and isn’t readily available to play…

  16. foxroano9t

    November 12, 2021 at 7:16 pm

I feel Zelda will outsell Mario Game and Watch. Nintendo has a TON of Mario property items so anything else is sought after more.

  17. MR Boombastic

    November 12, 2021 at 7:22 pm

    Ok I have it.
But I don’t believe you have any knowledge of the legend of Zelda as you keep on calling Link Zelda.

His name is Link not Zelda and you actually claimed to have played Game and Watch back in the day!? I think not. Sounds like you read a few things on the internet and that info was from a fake gamer. I guess when they make a Metroid game and watch, you’ll call Samus Metroid????

I’m buying them just to keep sealed and collect. 20 years from now it’ll be hard to find sealed ones I’m sure and I would imagine they’d be worth a pretty penny, especially if kept sealed. I have no need to open them anyway because I have all of these games on like five different systems. Lol

      November 13, 2021 at 4:06 am

I’d just invest in mutual funds.

    • MR Boombastic

      November 14, 2021 at 9:17 am

I have the mario one sealed,
But the Zelda one I had to open to play Links awakening again.

3:45 too bad that the Zelda game for Gameboy is not the color version……

    • Skullcrusher_1

      November 14, 2021 at 12:01 am

You don’t need it! We have link’s awakening for the switch and the quality of life improvements make me never want to play the old versions again.

What a missed opportunity that they didn’t include download codes of digital copies for the Switch; to permanently keep and without the borders found in their NSO rental service. Would buy all future game and watches (and re-releases of the Mario as well as Zelda ones); if they included digital download codes the Switch (for Mario and Zelda re-releases; I would pay $70 if they added US Mario 2 and 3, Super Mario World and A Link to the Past).

Those original game and watch from the early 80’s sold from $40-$50 brand new. $50 for the dual screen type. If I remember correctly, it only had 1 type of game not 3 or 4 like this new Zelda game. It was a tough sell for $50 and 1 game so the big hit at that time and for about the same price was ….The Game Time Watch by GCE. A gaming system of 4 games that you wore on your wrist as a watch then took it off to play. This was 1981-82. How time flies when you are a gamer.
