Smartwatches are useless, let’s be real, the screen is too small, the discomfort of operating on such interface it’s not worth the effort of not taking out your phone.
You buy it to have notifications on your wrist and then you turn on the “relax” mode to not have useless notification.
No sense at the finest level.
You just buy a smartwatch to show off you have money to spend.

I am really intrigued at the prospect of being able to edit my dictated messages on the watch. There have been times when I have scrapped a message on my watch and dictated on my phone because of the editing capabilities on the phone. Thanks!

I was hoping to hear about features that would bring the social aspects of other trackers (eg Fitbit) to the Apple Watch. As an example, group challenges among friends is something that Fitbit users really use. Is this possible or will it be possible with Watch?

More battery drain with more crap on it. You go from 18 hrs which was already below normal smartwatch industry standard to 10 hrs with no ability to charge it on the back of your cellphone. You will need to take a charger with you at all time. Actually 3 if you have other Apple products.

My Series 6 lasts about a day and a half but I always charge it while I shower anyway. It’s never died on me. Gave my Series 3 to my cousin and it still gets a full day.

It’s funny that they don’t even really have competition. WatchOS is lightyears ahead of WearOS and every other watch out there. Once Apple figures out how to make the battery last more than day or two it will be perfect.

I never run into issues with that though – just saying… it charges very fast and I take it off in the morning for some while. (in reality, I actually have two Apple Watches, but when I had 1 it was fine too)

@Takeo its just a bit annoying to charge every 2 days or so. If it lasted like 5 days now THAT would be awesome cuz we already have so many things to charge like earbuds and mobile phones and so on and the last thing we wanna keep charging is our watch XD

@Rindika Fanai but exactly since you already charge stuff – it comes naturally. We also charge phones that could last a day or two or three.

Yeah one of many things I miss with my Fitbit versa 2, 5+ day battery life. Kinda hate charging this everyday but have gotten used to it.

I’m pretty interested to see how they implement respiratory features within WatchOS for tracking sleep. I have a couple different sleeping tracking apps on my watch but I’m curious to see how Apple does it.

How about Apple add MST in the next AppleWatch since Samsung stop using MST on their recent smartwatches so I can pay with my watch in rural stores… also I like the multiple timers that’s super helpful for cooking.
