All I care about is high-end gaming and popular x86/64 applications being natively supported on ARM SoCs/APUs… Thank you Apple, Qualcomm, Steam, Nintendo, and nVidia (and MediaTek)

The year is 1999. Everyone was giving money to companies who had a .com. 2000 hit and the bubble collapsed. This is literally no different, except that the bubble is even bigger.

Says the guy commenting on a website through the Internet. There will be winners and losers, just like in 2000. AI is here to stay, just like the internet.

Looks at the comments, so many people didn’t get it. This is the future, you will realize it in, hopefully one year, or a couple of years. 😂😂😂

All the talk about tokens being akin to real world money is hilarious, All companies are pulling back due to the massive cost of AI and the token based subscriptions.

Why are they using ddr5 on the chips?

    • @Hextee

      June 1, 2026 at 12:25 pm

its not a traditional x86 , it is arm and unified memory based so the power budget for traditional rams are high, thats why the use lpddr5

Normally a cheerleader with skin in the game lacks credibility – Every presentation smacks of Nvidia drowning in hubris . Perhaps they should find some credible clients that calmly without the hype , tell their story of implementing all this stuff – up front costs , recurring costs for tokens per month , number of staff using the tools , training time and costs – then a cost benefit analysis setting out measurable productivity gains and any savings resulting from staff cuts .

Apple and snapdragon has got competition in unified memory architecture. This is good for customers!

  21. @Qtomb3D

    June 1, 2026 at 1:35 pm

Jensen / People keep saying AI “reasons” and “plans,” and has “working memory,” “long‑term memory,”
    and “acts like a worker.”

That’s anthropomorphizing: giving human traits to software.

    • Working memory = KV‑cache
    • Long‑term memory = vector search
    • Reasoning = next‑token prediction
    • Planning = writing steps, not executing them
    • Agents = scripts calling APIs

None of this is human cognition.
    None of it is agency.

AI is powerful, but it’s not a person.
(Interpret “Jensen / People” however you like.)

  22. @Qtomb3D

    June 1, 2026 at 2:11 pm

Jenson keeps talking about “1 billion workers” like that somehow represents the whole world.
Right now we have 3.2 billion workers out of 8.2 billion people.

So in his model the other 5.6 billion basically vanish because they do not fit the slide.
That is not a future. That is just keynote math dressed up as reality.
