I just paid $180 for an Android 11 phone with 6.5″ , 90hz screen, 5000 mAh, NFC and other features. $599 it’s too much for a smartphone.

Editing a photo without an app. That’s pretty cool. Photo erasing editing is a cool trick plus the camera looks like it will blow other phones out of the water. Plus the sweet pricing 🙂

Even for an 11 minutes highlight video this presentation put me to sleep. I’d much prefer yesterday’s 45 minutes Apple Infomercial (They made me spent $5000 lol).

    Ok this is weird
The Google event looks like Apples but with Google products all the way down to a guy with talking slow with silver/white hair. and for me the new pixel phones are ugly. and duh! big phones means big specs

All that is great but why didnt you add face unlock, why did you take it away especially now that the technology is getting much much better and advanced. What’s up with this removing of a good old useful feature? You had to give something to complain or had to have atleast one flaw. Don’t do that, add it later on an update.

Goggle pixel 6 pro is my next phone!

  40. The Count of Kent

    October 20, 2021 at 5:51 pm

Pixel 6 is definitely pleasing to buy now with that price and features. But let’s be real Google, all those nice software and hardware features won’t help you significantly to compete with Apple’s ecosystem. That’s what Android need to improve on. Becoming a smart phone brand that can take care of their users and connect them flawlessly. They’re almost there. Features and cost savings have always been Android’s bread and butter, with camera ability head to head with iPhone. They just need to work on brand loyalty and a way to connect their products well (especially their messaging and communication software). If Android can do better than I message and face time, we may have a game changer there.
