1) probably possible, if we know how to manupulate the way information is stored in our brain. THis will require a lot of time in research & dev
2) yes, this thing is “‘wireless” (5-10meters) so i can imagine it’d be possible.

I hope in future that neuralink can heal or aid mental health issues such as bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety or ocd etc. I have bipolar and low life quality and meds give horrible side affects. I might take a gamble on neuralink in the future. I’m excited about its capabilities and I love Elon musk who is bringing soo much to humans. Good luck Elon and the team

The first prhases of this told enough. So neuralink is going to “cure” depression and anxiety. There’s nothing to do with the fact that that’s normal way of thinking of a human being. He has to overcome those thought and needs another people to cope and solve those problems.
World around them is not doing those problems it is just ” wrong wireing”….
Musk& friends could help people with healthy way and people with problems could understand better themselfs and world around them. Without neuralink. But no answer is that. Really? Is this the best what the most powerful ppl can do? So pathetic. So twisted so sick way of thinking from the “modern technology” but have to be honest this is not surprise.

Imagine In a few years this gets mainstream. And you can download skills and knowledge to your brain. Now what would happen if you implanted this to a new born baby and recorded all the learning steps during its first few years or later.
Then you used that data on the next baby and download in a few hours.
Now you have a superbaby, imagine what else it would be able to learn and maybe the brain might develop into an even bigger more complex brain, since the brain is still developing.
A New species? More advanced than ourselves
I know it isn’t as simple but just the general idea sounds pretty wild to think of.
