This app should totally try to go horizontal but that would defeat its purpose…

    • @MobikSaysStuff

      February 16, 2024 at 7:25 am

What’s the point of going horizontal? All it would add is black bars on the sides, TikTok videos are recorded vertical.

Laying in bed. With YouTube and your comment on the ceiling above off to the left and tiktok front and center. Seems pretty great to me ????

It’s heavy and the battery is very heavy too. Haven’t warn it for an extended period of time because of that.

    • @shoetr

      February 15, 2024 at 11:35 pm

Personally, it’s a bit heavy, but nothing you can’t get used to. As for the battery, I wish the cord was just a bit longer to make it easier for me not snag it. Looking forward to see how fast the native App library progresses.

Proliferating the use of TikTok though? Come on…….. stop feeding a nation who is trying to backdoor the entire world – with more endorsement and personal data to weaponise. The same people shrugging off the factual data risks of TikTok are the same people boosting their economy & mil through purchases of stolen IP and copy-cat products (BYD, GWM, Haval, DJI, Ali-express/Alibaba etc). Would you use an app that the DPRK gov has backdoor access to? So what makes you think CN is any different. Wake up sheep!!

It would be cool if they could make certain elements 3D, like the like or favourite buttons, and then have you physically touch it. They should utilise the 3D capabilities of the Vision Pro. Having it all 2D just seems like a waste.
