In the future, when robots have taken over the human race and are using us as biological batteries, we’ll look back and say, “It all started, when they learned to smoke. Then it just went downhill from there.”

Smoking isn’t cool, unless it’s weed, right Wired? I’m glad you at least don’t hold cigarettes up on a pedestal.

    • @KuromoriYo

      November 1, 2016 at 9:02 pm

I don’t think anyone would “hold cigarettes up on a pedestal” I have no clue where you got that idea from…

    • @erkdoc5

      November 1, 2016 at 11:02 pm

No, but they hold weed on a pedestal.

    • @InsidiousAmv

      November 2, 2016 at 3:48 am

erkdoc5 Weed and cigarettes kinda on two different levels. One has known studies of killing people and has toxic chemicals. The other is grown from ground and smoked and is known to treat diseases. I think I can see why they do

    • @erkdoc5

      November 2, 2016 at 12:16 pm

      Apvl
They  are both grown from the ground. They both have toxic chemicals. Many studies have shown that smoking weed also bad for your heart like smoking cigarettes. Secondhand cannabis smoke is also bad for someone’s heart. Smoking weed also means breathing in tar. Neither is free of negative effects. Neither should be promoted as good.

    • @destrik

      November 3, 2016 at 1:27 pm

man just shut the fuck up, go do some real research on weed and then try and argue your point. Sure there can be a couple very small negative side affects, but how many people have died directly from weed? how many people have died from cigarettes? how many people have died from alcohol. no matter what kinda bullshit you try and put out there, the statistics are whats real. Weed has saved so many peoples lives, there are fucking children, and im talking 5 years old, who ingest cannabis daily because its the only medication that can help them. there are so so many human beings who would be dead right now if its wasn’t for weed. including young children. But weed shouldn’t be promoted as good? your that fucking ignorant? honestly you sound like one of the typical old bags who know nothing about the plant itself but is just against it for no reason. Tell me how a natural plant that saves countless lives and gives people the ability to live, shouldn’t be held on a pedestal. Go do some real research. Go fuck yourself.

That video made me smoke a cig

  12. @TheHornswoggler

    November 2, 2016 at 5:53 am

… people honestly cared enough about fucking rats to spend millions on a piece of machinery that rats can do for a fraction of the price? They’re rodents.

    • @5up3rp3rs0n

      September 12, 2017 at 2:10 pm

TheHornswoggler well with robots you can also control the way they smoke cigarette, something one cannot do on rats.

    March 25, 2017 at 4:19 am

  20. @notmyrealnamr7190

    March 31, 2017 at 11:58 am

oh but vaping is still cool? Go fuck yourself and stop trying to control me.

  21. @sonofhendrix1618

    April 23, 2017 at 11:48 am

It dont take a robot to tell you cigarettes are really bad for human health. i could have told you that.

  22. @sdfgjvnfgfkstjg

    September 5, 2017 at 10:27 am

Don’t tobacco companies specifically design their cigarette’s filters so they appear less harmful when smoked through a cigarette smoking machine?

  23. @TB8452

    January 22, 2020 at 4:59 pm

What happens to the rats if you don’t need them any more?

You won’t breed them – and then there won’t be any rats no more.

    That’s shady.

The SpaceX S-1 is finally here, and the story it tells goes way further than rockets. The filing runs to 36 pages of risk factors alone, and the numbers inside match the ambition: a $28 trillion total addressable market, a pay package tied to establishing a Mars colony, and a valuation target that would make it the largest IPO in American history.

On this episode of TechCrunch’s Equity podcast, Kirsten Korosec, Anthony Ha, and Sean O’Kane dig into the week’s biggest talent shakeups, acquisitions, and headlines — including what the filing actually says and whether any of this math connects to reality.
