1) A need for vaccines.
2) Several blackouts a day.
3) Visit communities to find out what they need.
4) What communities want to fix their needs.
5) Layers of culture in ways of doing things – user and cultural acceptance.
The need has already been explained including respecting the people and their culture rather than some command and control solutions that are from disrespectful and culturally naive players.

This video spent five minutes talking about everything other than the refrigerator. Which insofar as I could infer, is a solar panel powered refrigerator that will be locally produced in Kenya.

Did she sell them to the hospitals? Or were the funds donated from outside and she gave them away?
I don’t know if they produce them in China but if they do, and in mass, it’s going to be cheaper. I understand the idea of being proud of local products, it even gives local jobs, but it doesn’t make sense if it’s not efficient.

It makes sense because people need to feel that they have value. If African countries don’t find a way to produce and export, how will they ever feel like they have value? This is about so much more than efficiency.

@@btj7ndr33 I understand, but it is about what you are competing in. You need to take that into consideration as well and find whatever edge there is available and focus on sharpening that. Also, that isn’t the only way to provide value and gain some sort of national pride.

So, where is the fridge??? I scrolled through the video, but the engineer has not shown us any fridge. This might as well have been audio only. Ok, she looks pretty.

I saw numerous examples of the fridge. It doesn’t look like the typical concept of a fridge, because it’s a *vaccine* fridge.
