well it’s easy to understand why :
more greenhouse gases like c02 and methane > more warming (heatwave) > more evaporation (drought) > more precipitation (flooding)

@wellthi Using fossil fuels cause much of what you’re referencing and nuclear power causes none of those side effects. But the masses are too scared to change to nuclear when it has many clear benefits above wind and solar solutions, which do not generate the needed energy. And because it scares people politicians have made it a divisive topic. Not to mention the costs of nuclear powers is way less then what these other green energy solutions are

And if anything goes wrong (which never happens), the ocean can just wash away your nuclear material. Very handy.

Don’t know much about it. I’m just a layman, but my chemistry professor told me things have been put in place to make the likelihood of another melt down like Chernobyl highly unlikely.

@wellthi I am suffering the consequences of global warming, changing weather and now tornadoes becoming more common in the area where I live because our leaders have failed to use nuclear technology and are still trying to use fossil fuels.
