     @laurataylor7103 All history is automatically a retelling. It is told differently depending on who is doing the telling. What is “true history”? You may be able to have historical accuracy in costuming – because we have physical artifacts on which to base them. But when it comes to the details of the story of what actually happened – we only have the “testimony” of witnesses and those to whom they told their stories, which eventually got recorded. As we know from the legal system – eyewitness testimony is highly unreliable and when they tell it to someone else and they tell it to someone else who then writes it down… That’s not even admissible in court. It’s just hearsay. But that is what we call true history. Because it is the best we have. We do the best we can to piece together the story from multiple sources to get a more accurate representation. But I would not be so quick to disregard a retelling as inaccurate simply because it attempts to tell the story from a point of view that is typically not included in the historical record. I would suggest that possibly the “true history” is inaccurate if it fails to include those points of view. What this man is talking about is how they used costuming – purposefully historically “inaccurate” costuming – to tell a true historical story from a unique point of view. It’s a very interesting approach and worthy of consideration, not being immediately disregarded simply because it requires the use of the imagination. Imagination is valuable and what makes us human.

     @laurataylor7103 I don’t think Hamilton and Jefferson were having rap battles in congress either but some things are exaggerated and changed to better fit an entertaining narrative.

   ייצור כל כלי נשק נחשב להזיה….. והוא מסתיים עכשיו לנגד עינינו…. ועם התקציב המדהים הזה נוכל לדאוג לכל ילד וכל ילדה שלא ימכרו את גופם לממן לימודים……
   הורים יקרים הבתי ספר שאתם שולחים אותנו נחשבים לבייביסיטר ברמה הכי נמוכה שיש….. אנחנו לומדים רק לפי ה-dna שלנו, זאת אומרת שכל ילד כבר הביא את המתנה שלו, לכל ילד מערכת אישית של ai שעובדת איתו, אם לא שמתם לב כבר ה-ai הוריד את רמת הלחץ בפלנטה למה?
   כי להרבה אנשים כבר יש גישה ויכולת ללמוד ולהתבטא וליצור בצורה הרבה יותר רחבה משמע הלחץ מתחיל לרדת……
   זוהי החלטה.
   לעצור לרגע.
   לשים את היד על הלב.
   ולבחור.
   לבחור בגן עדן עלי אדמות.
   לבחור שהבית ייבנה כאן.
   עכשיו.
   בלב.
   אורי אור.
   התעוררי, התעורר.
   כי מציון תצא תורה
