Sweet, something else we don’t need.

Maybe I missed it but I didn’t see the ability to program it to start toasting at a specific time. That would be the feature I would want. I could care less about adding pictures, calendars, or any of that stuff.

Good for you Justin moving to CNET. Hopefully your Justin_Tech Philips Hue Channel will continue to have some posts. Been a fan for a while now.

That is the dumbest idea ever. Now I have to be scared of my toaster watching and hearing me. Or better yet getting the wrong update causing it to think it is a dishwasher and bricking it.

And yeah I know this one doesn’t have WiFi. Well that is what they say.

they should have put a scanner on it so that it can only accept bread made by the toaster manufacturer.

this is so dumb. show me more garbage like this & get an unsub.

What problem does this solve? This is $400 of pure nonsense

Go get a Mitsubishi toaster or a Balmuda toaster which the two are nearly as expensive as the revolution toasters minus the bells and whistles like touchscreen gimmicks. The Japanese toasters really make the toaster taste better like super moist and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside! I got the Mitsubishi toaster and it totally worth the 600 dollars!

      $600 for a toaster? You’re nuts.

My sister has a smart refrigerator. We experienced a power outage. When the power came back on, it burned out a circuit board in her refrigerator, requiring an $800 repair. That same power outage had NO EFFECT on my low-price “dumb” refrigerator. Both refrigerators perform the same function: they keep food cold. This is why I don’t buy smart appliances.

My toaster “toasts” 4 pieces of bread at the same time. Can your smart toaster do that? Huh? Huh? Thought not.

not bad, could have been handy for me, id actually buy this and use it, well before I got Diabetes I would have, now I know carbs are bad and bread is unnecessary

So a diamond shaped heating element consumes less energy to produce same amount of heat as others do?
Have you tested with kill-a-watt meter (or something like that) or did you just regurgitate the material manufacturer sent to you.
