My big question is how are we properly disposing of the garbage after it is captured? A lot of plastics aren’t recyclable, what are we doing about that?

I think the goal is to get the plastic out of the ocean in order to keep fish from eating it. Meaning humans will eat less plastic as we eat fish. But good question.

So part of the plastic IS recyclable. With the rest, what do you do with your garbage?? Assume they’re smart enough to dispose of properly, instead of dumping it back in the ocean, and no that isn’t a good question. It’s silly.

I don’t think you can. There’s no good way to scrub a bottom without interfering too much with aquatic life.
That’s called boots on the ground and if you know a place that needs it, join part of a group that will clean it.

It’s great what you’re doing! but there is a guy in the Philippines ” tropical ocean cleanup” who makes Kabooms out of waste tyres and plastic bottles and collects rubbish with locals and has been doing it for the last 9 months with a shoe string budget and the help of locals, why not get in touch with him and see what putting your heads together can achieve? because so far you claim to be making these inventions and over the years I have seen many individuals with many machines similar to what you have shown, (Not the Wilson’s) strive to clean up Man/womankind’s mess going back 15 years
