Oh cnet, can’t make a google announcement without bringing up apple.

Requiring people to double check should be a standard that’s not frowned upon but celebrated. It shows that the company is accepting the fact that things aren’t perfect and people need to stop pretending that everything should just work perfectly. Just like with any piece of assistant tech, the user needs to be at least 15% smarter than the assistant they’re using. Otherwise there will be horrible examples. As we have all seen.

What’s the point if ai tells you lies?… If you like being lied to that’s fine.

Totally off topic, but the host has facial expressions and body language like a Pixar character

Maybe Apple and Google need better coders, Huawei’s HarmonyOS 5.2 does all of this stuff much better, and has for a while. One of the reasons Apple and Google had Huawei banned from the US market.

I’m currently using it to help me troubleshoot issues I’m having with hot swapping my server drivers. I’m impressed by its usefulness as it is already. It’s not perfect, but great so far.

Apple product sucks so bad. Do you think the software is any better? I guess I’m telling the wrong person apple lover 😂

Google will always be 1 or 2 steps ahead. New Siri would have to be innovative

Android ai has been delivered without the fake hopes. Wym? Been using it for years now..meanwhile apple still in beta.

Doesn’t take much to make Siri look bad, really. Inversely, Google Gemini integration is quite amazing.

    May 16, 2025 at 5:17 pm

Unsubscribing. Propping up apple is fine, but this is straight out delusional blaming Google for Apple’s woes. Gemini is way better than AI in getting thsi done.

    One:

    I disliked the video.

Two: It doesn’t matter how good Siri is or isn’t. As Bixby can work alongside Gemini on Samsung devices (if ya want it) or even have the combination of Co-Pilot and Bixby too…

    Yeah, Siri’s done!

Are you indirectly airing your iOS frustration while referring to Android.? I’m disappointed

I would say android is finally getting it right. After a decade. Which is why I finally switched from apple to android last year

Siri is the most useless… I’ll say ” hey siri, call mom” there goes Siri calling someone else or hey siri turn of my floor lamp and siri would reply ” sorry I can’t do that” like bruh!!! Just work. Siri is sooooooo useless. Apple needs to step it up. SIri is more of a AS (Artificial Stupidity) instead of AI..

  22. @sunmoon-q3r

I would love to see Siri being much smarter and capable please please please
