I doubt Apple would drop a port-less iPhone anytime soon seeing that Apple CarPlay still requires a wired connection.

The Fanboys are crying as Iphone is less and less a high end product… new things have to come….

Apple is actually killing their own products as their business strategy with new products. It’s more of interconnected apple hardware products with apple software and services.

I just hope it’s the apps like final cut and logic that run more optimized on arm processors but I think gen 1-3 they won’t

Videos like this are one of the main reason why I dislike Apple… Apple hasn’t had that perfect experience in over 7 years. They are always last to stuff and implement several things that take away from the experience and people are always happy to pay more for less…

I don’t know if anyone is not familiar with John Prosser on front page tech, but no offense this is kind of old news, the funny thing of an apple is they rely on there royalties, anytime someone makes a lightning cable, apple gets a cut so business decisions like that keeps apple out of debt, if they went USBC, they would lose out on a lot of money from the lightning connector that they made, so they would rather go portless then to go USB C, makes sense so that means of smart connectors, and if it’s something that they made, they may get a cut from the third-party producers. There was something said that electronics would have to go to USB C by a certain date, not sure if it was a law or a FCC thing.

Hope Apple holds their ground on keeping the Apple Watch square..I know circle face may look sleeker and more popular, but the square face is much better..you can get a better view on square than circle

Portless I phones would be great for people that work in dirty environments. I constantly have to clean out my charging port, and I’m not paying for overpriced wireless chargers.

No port. Then Apple would sell wireless charger separately. No earpod as well. Means when you unbox only the phone.
