Let people have the freedom to live in the way that they see fit and stop trying to control people through legislation.

If we weren’t killing the planet ACTIVELY then you might have a point, but alas.

You have your freedom to do what you please. It’s not against the law to carry a 500 pack of plastic straws around with you. Good legislation stops greedy businesses and conglomerates from putting increased profits above the health of the country and its people.

@gnocchidokie I do not have the freedom to do as I please. I have a list of things I want to do but am legally obligated not to at this very moment. Kindly stop schilling for big government. They lost public trust during Covid. Are you telling me they handled that whole thing in a way that met your expectations? No. They knew well in advance a pandemic could break out and they did nothing to prepare.

Mostly unrelated but any attempts to persuade transitions to green energy that don’t put nearly 100% of their focus on nuclear energy (fission and fusion) are juvenile and useless.

In the end, no one will know anything about the huge object that lies between the Earth and the Moon and will change all life on Earth. But in their ignorance they called it: global warming/climate change.
It was noticed too late because it was buried in spray-painting campaigns all over the world so that no one would see the signs in the sky – but they knew how to create further distraction with a doll. And a lot of people fell for it, because obviously the initiators just wanted to bring something good to humanity.

Figuratively, a great reminiscence of Augusto Boal, the iconic Brazilian theatre dramacist, founder of The Theatre of the Oppressed and political activist.

It is time for Artists and people who understand how we are destroying our planet everywhere to appeal to the parts of people that need waking up.
