We structured the tax code so that the HUGE majority of CEO pay is options- so linked to share price over the next 3-5 years. Then things broke.

Yet we can’t revert the tax code because that would be a tax break for the wealthy. We just need to go ruin other things too.

    Nonsense.

    Shareholders?

This guy’s “playbook” is out of date.

It’s all ESG and DEI now.

@hajas ádámnvironment, Social, Governance. Diversity, Equality, Inclusion.

@Rensune I disagree. I work at a fortune 50 and it’s all about the shareholders and with layoffs, DEI and ESG have all been dropped as priorities.

@ThePeytonLeigh that sounds like bs tbh, like some fake corporate speech about social responsibility and such

No more half-measures; first it was CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), now it’s being rebranded as the Anti-CEO playbook.

No more unelected executive boards or C-suite. More worker owned businesses. We must steer our economy away from unaccountable “shareholders”

You’re never going to get people to view their coworkers as family, and their company as a community without giving them a stake in said business. And a basic salary that barely keeps you ahead or afloat does not a stake entail.

    • ThePeytonLeigh

      July 5, 2023 at 2:26 pm

Hamdi does award shares to his employees. But can’t speak to salary as I haven’t worked there for years.

      July 6, 2023 at 10:29 am

you can absolutely foster community relations within a company. it’s just not possible when the workforce is alienated from their own labor. everyone who works for a major company knows on some level that they are being exploited by ultrarich capitalists, so why would anyone take any pride in their work? worker-owned businesses are the future because it is the only future in which we have any chance of survival

Making money is an action. Keeping money is behavior, but “growing money is wisdom”. I found this out a week ago after getting a $10,000 return on my $3,000 investment in 7 days.

@Enoch JacksonNo I don’t give him my funds, It stays right in my trading account. My account only mirrors his trades in real time that’s the ideal for this system. Copy trading is 100% secured and very transparent to work with him, you have total control over your funds and can opt out anytime you want.

Allan Howell is the only one I can leave my investment with and think less about it, he is my money maker. I just received $24,300 of my investment last month. I am very happy because he is leading me to financial freedom.

At the end of the day, call it what you want but it’s still just capitalism.
Its one main purpose/driver is maximizing profits by ANY means necessary.
That’s what’s gotten our species to the brink of extinction with our climate change catastrophe. Capitalism created it. It most certainly will not solve it.
Capitalism must end before it ends us.

Innovation, passion and community are the last things on the minds of rich people aka shareholders, CEOs. In fact, it’s not on their minds at all. Money is all they care about, this playbook will not change upon request. Only when they’re forced to change it will change happen.
