If it wasn’t tied to Elon I’d be excited. Hey … remember when he participated in trying to ruin our nation? I sure do!

I remember the quarter billion dollars he paid to try and rig an election. I also remember the damage he DIRECTLY caused to our government with those layoffs.

Some WiFi on a plane? Dude .. could not care less.

Remember when BMW endorsed the guy y’all hate so much? Remember who created the Volkswagen brand, including the legendary Beetle, leading to the creation of the Porsche 911? 🤔

@thismanagain weird way to distance yourself from people who don’t like Hitler.

and how long were the people who gave those endorsement still running things? Are they in charge now?

I’ve got no problem with companies like Honda and Mitsubishi that literally built war machines that attacked us … the people who made those decisions aren’t still in charge.

@zero11010but you very conveniently leave out the part that they DID participate in those things. Elon isn’t much different. He’s no angel, he’s just another pawn in the game.

@thismanagain gotcha. Yeah my point is that the version of the company that has existed since I’ve been alive is VERY different from the company that was around 80 years ago.

And Elon’s companies are still all about Elon. That’s an issue for me.

Don’t get me wrong … if Honda was still headed by people who made planes that attacked us … I’d be less excited about their cars and motorcycles. Literal generations have passed since those companies were run by those people.

THAT is what I’m getting at. It’s not like they’re still running things.

But, Elon is running things. So, I’ve got no interest in anything he’s actively running.

@zero11010there are things about Elon that I don’t find favorable too, but if his cars are good enough, I wouldn’t hesitate as a consumer. The reality is different though. Tesla quality isn’t as good as the Chinese alternatives.

At least they’re offering some actual service to their customers.

Another reason to boycott United Airlines because of it is Musk’s Starlink. But, billionaires can support United Airlines.

I don’t fly often enough for it to make a difference which airline I use.

Who cares if it’s connected to Elon, this is a huge step forward in tech and some people are too stupid to realize that. You know Elon isn’t the only employee at the company right? He pushed the idea forward and made an environment for people to practice their careers and skills to make it happen. Elon is a visionary, bless him!!!

Elon is a futurist, It’s unfortunate that he’s an idiot about this political and possibly his social and ethical ideas.😮

JSX uses starlink and it’s amazing. Blazing fast download speeds with unbeatable coverage. It’s the future of WiFi on jets.
