Tesla is far away from the only brand using pop out door handles and some do not even provide a door handle. Ford got called out for when the 12v battery fails it can lock you out of your Mach E – which apparently happened to some parents who kids were stuck inside. The new BMW iX3 had retracting handles as does the new Leaf. The model 3 and Y are fully manual.
