He has his hands on the product, but weirdly he doesn’t use it to demonstrade, that is a very weird type of “hands on” video, was microsoft imposing too many restrictions? Were they pointing a gun at your while you recorded? Why didn’t you show the device working?

Personally I like some bezel. I actually work on my tablets and I hold it with one hand and draw with the other. Have a few mm to rest my thumb on is useful. Don’t need huge bezels, but now we got to the point where it’s too little. Especially on a tablet. If you need a notch or punch hole in your screen, then the bezel is too small.
This whole chase for no bezels is taking away from actual innovation.

Bezels are for a reason upper one is to hide the camera lower is one design for both keyboard and the stylus storage in mind. And it’s good for holding it up in hands.

@Sloppy Toons see your point to some extent, but when drawing, sketching or using the stylus, the tech has gotten better where we can desensitize the edge when sketching. We need more real estate and watching any movie or playing any game will be a treat on slim trim down bezels

Just make the Surface Studio 3 into a GIANT Surface Studio laptop.
Still a heavy desktop, but keyboard, trackpad and dial are all self contained and it all becomes “portable”

because a gpu produces a lot of heat and uses up lots of battery, it just wouldn’t work well in the thin and light form factor of the surface pro.

Such a horrible and idiotic decision by Microsoft to put an 11th gen intel processor in the Surface Studio 2+ !!! Also, you say that the Surface Pro 9 has the best keyboard ever in a Windows laptop computer. You obviously have never used a Dell Precision Workstation laptop, or any of the other laptops that also have far better keyboards than the Surface Pro 9.

Am I the only wondering why smart bezels aren’t a thing. Minimum bezel when it’s laptop mode and then becomes a bit bigger so your fingers don’t touch the screen when you go to table mode

Surface Pro 9 in max configuration with 32gb Ram close to 3.000€. Surface Studio 2+ with only 32gb Ram, 1Tb HD and Nvidia RTX 3060, does not even feature 12th gen Intel i7, and costs 5.600€.

Compared to last years introduction of Surface Pro 8 and Surface Laptop Studio, this is a step backwards.

Zoom on the Surface Pro works really smoothly, and has the same interface as Windows laptops. I’ve used Zoom on both the Surface Pro and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. It runs great on both. I prefer the Surface Pro interface, but the Tab S8 Ultra has a great camera and excellent audio.

I have a surface pro 5. keyboard peels off after one year. Also charger dead after two years. No windows 11 update.

Video calls are usually better than your average windows laptops but I am not sure about macs. If you are a university student, I highly recommend it. Better than carrying an Ipad and a laptop.

I’ve had the 4G version of SP8 since summer, it’s amazingly versatile! I use mine as a desktop system, drawing tablet, laptop, for media consumption and light gaming.

Nice Surface. Expensive, but wait a few years and they will be less than half price! I managed to get a second-hand Surface Pro5 for £260 with i5 and 8Gb RAM, 256Gb + Keyboard + pen 🖋 ! It’s more than adequate for a student and does everything a PC 💻laptop can do and is less than 1Kg!
Incidentally the launch price in May 2017 was £800, without the keyboard or pen 🖋 😢
