If he was a expert he would know that Jango Fett is not a Mandalorian…. please, get someone that actually knows the lore, please

    • RTB Productions

      December 17, 2020 at 9:46 pm

You mean like someone who knows that Fett is a Mando clan that stretches all the way back to the Old Republic? What was that about “knowing the lore”?

  6. Blender Study

    December 17, 2020 at 9:46 pm

My question is if Solo’s fatal hit against Boba Fett was intentional, or accidental.

    • K Malik

      December 17, 2020 at 10:17 pm

That had to be accidental, he asked Chewbacca where Boba Fett was just as he hit him, so he couldn’t have possibly intended it.

I love Star Wars Explained, but why didn’t they get Pablo Hidalgo to do this? He would’ve been able to more definitively answer a lot of these questions that the Damons could only speculate about.

I would watch in the release order especially if you want to show it to a child. Children are so uncritical that you don’t have to trick them into liking the ones that aren’t as good.

i don’t believe you guys are starwars experts i would request thtat you change the name of this video to star wars fans answer questions. also vader can’t snore in this suit cause he can’t breath on his own that is the what the noise he is making is. Vader can’t breath on his own.

  35. Cole Miller

    December 18, 2020 at 6:56 am

Well when empire first came put and darth vader told luke he was his father, lots of people including james earl jones thought he was lying to luke to get him to turn. Course it’s common knowledge now but it still gives a decent reason to watch it in order of release

  37. Mel PM

Realistically Rey would be depressed but since the trilogy was ruined, she would then continue to live alone, around sand and probably a mechanic. idk but disappointed by the way it ended

  38. HelloTardis

  46. Jason Bieber

According to Batuu rules, both Lando and Han were holding a Rule of Two, Han’s being the higher ranked of the two. Lando’s sylop would have thrown the advantage to him.

  48. Jay Luck

    December 18, 2020 at 8:16 pm

Biggest question I’ve ever had is:

Once, a novelist wrote (I believe in the series where Jacen became Sith) that a Jedi had had his Achilles tendon severed. Would this then place that timeline somewhere between the death of the mighty warrior and my birth?

Far, far away enough that they never should have heard of Achilles, but not THAT long enough back in time to be significant.

  55. Justin Purcell

    December 19, 2020 at 7:55 am

Why would any new person want to know Anakin is Darth Vader before he became Darth Vader? I remember watching the first trilogy when I was a kid and then watching the prequels later like “I already know what’s going to happen… this is boring”… When I re watch the movies in a whole I prefer to do it in chronological.

Second answer could also be: We learned in chapter 15 of the Mandalorian that no other Mandalorians, not even the ones who take off their helmets, recognize Boba Fett as one of them, because he is a clone. His “father” was one, but he died when Boba was still a child, so he was never fully raised as one. He was definitely never tought in “The Way”.

The one thing that really bothers me about TPM is the introduction of the midi-chlorians. It just destroyed this mysterious thought about the force.

Answering the order to watch the movies question:
    You could watch
    A New Hope
    Empire strikes back
    Phantom menace
    Clone wars
    Revenge of the Sith
    Return of the Jedi
The Force awakens ( if you must )
And skip the last Jedi and rise of skywalker because the those two are garbage writing compared to the rest.

I think people would be like “ lord Vader wake up” then Vader wakes up and he’s like “ shut it I need sleep” then he try’s to go back to sleep then someone taps him on his shoulder to make sure he doesn’t fall asleep, then I think he would force choke everyone in the room

  96. PaidInBoredom

    December 21, 2020 at 4:58 am

I mean technically even tho they aren’t canon the Vong have no connection to the force and they’re living beings.

So happy to see Alex and Mollie!

  98. MombO?

    December 21, 2020 at 6:13 am

For anyone wondering, in Star Trek TNG, it’s revealed that an ancient race seeded the galaxy to create races similar to themselves, which is the explanation for why almost every alien race is humanoid. I believe this is the parallel evolution bit that they mentioned early on

Happy to see more Alex and Molly anywhere

  100. Joe Wilson

    December 21, 2020 at 8:14 am

The mudhorn didn’t destroy Beskar. I was under the impression that Beskar was rare even among Mandalorians, and that Dinn’s first suit was NOT beskar, except for possibly a few select pieces, until he was able to bring in that big beskar payment.

He wasn’t wearing pure besker when the mud horn attacked him

    • TheWizard

      December 21, 2020 at 10:57 pm

There’s a theory that I agree with that everything except for the helmet was durasteel due to a lack of beskar for making beskar’gam out of.

  107. Nicole Bae

    December 21, 2020 at 4:32 pm

I know I missed this but my biggest question is why are clones fertile? Like there’s that guy in the clone wars who has 2 kids. Why were clones that are made for battle able to create kids or was this guy a bad batch sort of thing?

  108. Crispy Pickles

    December 21, 2020 at 5:32 pm

So cool seeing Star Wars Explained on Wired!

  110. Dan Hoke

    December 21, 2020 at 6:50 pm

Because marketing for the movies all happens in English and in English an X is an “X”?

  111. Nathaniel Jennings

    December 21, 2020 at 8:09 pm

Wasn’t Vader’s suit and cybernetics made to constantly put him in pain and discomfort to always kinda stoke the dark side. No chance that big itchy boi slept at a meeting

    • TheWizard

      December 21, 2020 at 11:00 pm

It wasn’t _designed_ to put him in pain, but it did. However, there was little choice for him. You’re right though, he wouldn’t have fallen asleep.

  112. Tanveer Amjad

    December 21, 2020 at 9:04 pm

a mudhorn cant acctually penatrate actual beskar the mandolorian at that momment was wearing durasteel

  113. FJAR1635

    December 21, 2020 at 10:00 pm

These comments are so weird. They were brought on to answer questions about Star Wars and people are upset because they refer to films/characters in the Star Wars universe. You may not like Rey or the sequels but that doesn’t mean NO ONE does.

  114. Chris McDowell

    December 21, 2020 at 10:20 pm

The only problem with watching the movies in release order is when young Anakin appears as a force ghost at the end of ROTJ. Every single person (first time viewers) that I’ve seen watch the films in release order gets to that scene and has no idea who that person is or why he’s there.

    • TheWizard

      December 21, 2020 at 10:59 pm

That’s why you watch the original, with Sebastian Stan as the ghost!

    • Chris McDowell

      December 21, 2020 at 11:48 pm

@TheWizard I think you mean Sebastian Shaw, but yes, I agree.

What’s the other lightsaber AND force resistant materials that Palpatine and his master worked with during Palpatine’s training years?

    Who is Salacious crumb?

What’s the name of Lando’s assistant on Cloud city?

Sean Thursby it was partially beskar. his helmet and one shoulder pad were at least part beskar

@Corvette Guy and those pieces didn’t get jacked. His non-beskar’d arm got injured, and his breastplate (established in the first few minutes of the first episode as NOT being beskar) was all effed up.

With regard to the question of Star Trek and humans basically there are many beings in that universe that look human but aren’t. So, for example, the people of Eminiar VII, look exactly like us but they evolved on another planet. So Han and Leia could be technically a different species.

Not sure Vader could actually go to sleep outside of his meditation chamber. You know given the constant excruciating pain he is in.

Chirrut Îmwe. Yeah. The Clone wars and the canon comics have reference to the fact that not all force users are Jedi or Sith. The Night sisters for example are neither. But they use the force. Îmwe is a force user that isn’t Jedi or Sith

Anakin found him, claimed ownership and fixed him up before leaving him with his mother only to reclaim him after his mother’s death. Please correct me if I am wrong

I disagree that anyone can be taught to use the force and in fact cannon would suggest that a certain midichlorians count be needed and the Jedi wouldn’t have gone out of their way to find force sensitive Children if they could just train anyone; maybe people can be tau T to be more aware of the force but using it is another thing entirely.

Didn’t know Life day was apparently November 17th. I dunno how that works though, or how the Star Wars world could even have just some standardised calender let alone one that corresponds perfectly with ours. That said, if It’s true I am so tempted to celebrate life day next year.

force sensitivity being passed down through family lines isnt an isolated incident with the skywalker bloodline. ki adi mundi was allowed to have a family and had a lot of children, the jedi were allowed to continue their blood lines, they just were not allowed attachment to them

Considering there were three big Havoc Squad units between The Old Republic and its trailers, (the one on Alderaan led by Jace Malcom, Haron Tavus’s Havoc Squad that defected to the Sith Empire, and the Havoc Squad led by the playable Trooper), I’d say Jace Malcom could probably solo Delta squad. I love the clone commandos, but the dude took on a Sith Lord in hand to hand combat, while getting zapped by force lighting, then survived a grenade to the face. Either of the other makeups of Havoc Squad would probably lose to Delta though

i would go if someone wanted to do it, in my opinion the best way, we all have our own order, including shows: 4,5,6,1,2,3,rogue one, the Mandolorian series, then the new trilogy… if you want to include them and the clone wars would depend on if you are a first time watcher of the content or a returning watcher wanting to watch it all again seeing it could be broken up between different things. and rogue one could go after 3 or after before 4. this is just my opinion also rebels i have not figured out a spot for yet

Well these experts are not really deep in the lore. Good amateurs. But no experts. Example: Lightsabers are expensive because Kyber is scarce? No. They are expensive because only Jedi and Sith can build them. Even during the prequel era Jedi are a very rare sight, even a myth for some. There where 10,000 Jedi for a population of 100,000,000,000,000,000 in about 70,000,000 star systems in the galaxy. So one in 10,000,000,000,000 is a Jedi. One in 7,000 star systems. To bring that into real life: that is one Jedi in 1,316 times the population of earth. Kyber is practically abundant in comparison.
