Spotify wants to help you make more customized playlists with AI. Following the popularity of its AI DJ feature, Spotify is now testing the ability to create AI-generated playlists with text prompts. Rather than just basing a playlist off of genre or decade, you can guide the AI with specific feelings, colors and other associations for a more personalized experience. The feature is only available to users in the UK and Australia to start, though that’s not too uncommon for testing new products before taking them to a global audience.
