You don’t fool anybody, Apple deceived people recently, even Apple lost a class action because their AI ads were a scam.

You don’t have to be “fooled” lol you can just look at the models. If you’re smart enough… not sure based on your comment lololol

    Apple intelligence at front: 🤡
Apple intelligence at backstage: Google Gemini 👌🏻😏

Only with a new icon but the same UI

So, it is Gemini disguised as Siri, right? 😂

pretty much its just a gemini LLM that apple has paid google for and integrated it into their own services so it is in fact just Gemini and the private compute stuff is your data going to a google server thats restricted and encrypted in some form to prevent access to the data

So in software engineering terms, Apple used the Google Gemini “framework” to build the new Siri?

If this analogy is accurate, then Google Gemini is functioning similarly to how the .net framework functions in Windows apps 🤔

I’ve been using Gemini some because I can tell it to read the page without taking a screenshot and then running it through another app so they can read it to me so it has been more convenient for my dyslexia but I had another way it just took more steps and lots and lots of screenshots but yesterday my Gemini wasn’t working for some reason and I had to Google it and apparently the error code was common so back to the old way I’m annoyed

It’s Gemini through and through otherwise Apple wouldn’t be licensing access for $1Billion per year.

Why is CNET bias towards Apple and hates Google?

  15. @johnboy8705

    June 11, 2026 at 8:15 pm

We know it’s not, but we know it was made by Google using Gemini to train Apple models. So essentially it is a Gemini.

    June 11, 2026 at 8:19 pm

Typical Apple fanboy trying to justify how great Apple is when they clearly are using Gemini

  17. @thanksbetotap

    June 11, 2026 at 8:22 pm

Gemini is the base model that is being diffused from. These people have zero clue how AI is trained, and they’re completely misunderstanding what Apple said at the press event.

    June 11, 2026 at 8:22 pm

Apple should have branded Siri with iGemini 😂

  19. @-DM

    June 11, 2026 at 8:27 pm

Apple worked with Google, they took Gemini and customized it for the Apple ecosystem, it is a version of Gemini.
