Schang-Chi is easily one of the best super hero films I’ve watched. It was different in all the right ways and so refreshing that it wasn’t all about white people or American culture. Loved the film and so happy that I discovered a few new great actors like Simu Liu and Awkwafina. I really hope he gets the recognition he deserves and lots of more (leading man) roles.

I know that Chinese and Japanese are different, but I feel a sort of connection to Shang-Chi. One of the rare Asian super heroes out there. And the fact I feel like Simu is one of those people you can hang out with for an hour, and feel like you’ve known them for years makes it all the better, because I’ve been told I’m like that.
