Question: Does Snuffleupagus still appear on Sesame Street? Just curious for anyone that knows. Big Bird and Oscar were always my favourites growing up… I even loved the movie Follow That Bird when I was a kid… sometimes I’ll watch those old clips on YouTube.

Yes but not often. Martin P Robinson is also Slimey The Worm and Telly Monster. Up until 1997 Sesame was producing 122 hour long episodes a year. Tons of time for characters. Nowadays it’s down to about 12-16 half hour episodes. They’ve also changed the format. Pre 2000s the show was geared more towards 6-8 yr olds. Now they’ve aimed it at 3-5 yr olds. Snuffy and Telly are geared more towards older kids so they don’t really have much to do.

“First of all, I love this grammar.” Knowing Oscar, I don’t know if he was being sarcastic or not.

Sesame Street is the best street in New York, There is a literal ‘Sesame Street’ sign on West 63rd Street and Broadway, New York, USA. In 2019, There was a street naming ceremony that was held in May of that year and they changed the sign to “Sesame Street”, They actually made it permanent and the sign is still there in 2023

This video was good up until the end, I can’t stand seeing Cookie Monster eat something that’s NOT food! What principle are we trying to teach our children? To eat everything in our path? To not have self control? Yeah, I know Cookie said he does things to calm down but I’m thinking that it doesn’t last long and he just gives in to his temptations. Why did they have to do that at the end? I don’t find it funny at all. 😒

Welcome to the “Auntieverse” — a surreal tribute to “auntie culture” by artist Niceaunties, inspired by the spirit of the women who care for each other and their families. From sushi-bedecked cars with legs to hot tub baths full of ramen, Niceaunties shares a visual feast that fuses AI and imagination and celebrates the eccentric, vibrant world of aunties with reverence and awe. (Slides created with AI including Midjourney and DALL·E 3 for text-to-image creation; magnific.ai and Topaz Labs for upscaling the images; Pikalabs and Runwayml for animation.)
