Just sad to see what was once a credible source of scientific progress has turned into whatever this is.

Some people do an excellent job of gaslighting themselves and make melodramatic sweeping judgements

      – TED has always the E in it
      – They are no less credible than before
      – They are just as concerned about science
      – Modern music is a good thing to have

If these 2 songs ruined TED science for you, you probably don’t think much of science. It’s a sad reaction to see people so offended by art that somehow everything else is bad now by association. It’s just really ignorant and tribal ????

@Internet HoboNo, not all science is credible, there is a scientific method, and their is pop culture science. TED hasnt always been highlighting more of the pop culture side of science, but it has increasingly. Not legitimate scientific inquiries, but doctored studies pushing an ideological agenda. Then to see this type of bs platformed by then, they have been damaging their own credibility amongst the masses for some time now. People on an ideological lean that TED reinforces are the majority of the fans I see.

The E in TED is actually Entertainment. But it fails that as well, unless you mute the sound and perhaps the visuals become a bit more entertaining.

apologies, yes your correct, i was just winging it lol. And you made me chuckle, thanks; it really isnt very good for me just for visuals either! lmfao ….@Maxine Downs

Great that TED show segments like this as well – so it’s not just the people attending who get the full show!
Been quite disappointed in the past when I knew for sure an artist had performed at a TED event, but it wasn’t uploaded to either YouTube or on the webpage…
