I love Apple and iPhone (I’ve owned two iPod touches and an iPhone) but Samsung is the company of the people. I was 25 before I had a smartphone and it was a $150 Samsung, 10 years ago. My 12-year-old niece bought a Galaxy A10 last year with money she’s earned on her own. My mom got her first top of the line midrange phone last year with the Galaxy A71 (International version was only $360). Samsung, putting smartphones in the pockets of hillbillies since 2010.

Anything below the a52 is crap……….cuz you can get better from other brands at those lower prices.

A52 upwards is worth it but anything below is not worth it to me

Samsung makes great phones. I’ve been a customer of their electronics, especially the TVs since the late 80s. Thank you for the in-depth review..!!

So the 8gb/256gb A52 5G model isn’t coming to the US. I’m so tired of getting the low spec version of the A Series.

Was thinking of getting the S21+ but for what I need these days, that A52 5G sounds pretty solid.

In the 1970s EVERYONE had a FREE AT&T phone and had to use AT&T service. Phones were not the focus of our lives. My how things have changed.

I know it’s expected, but is anyone else disappointed there’s nothing around or smaller than 6 inches? RIP small phones, still holding on to my Galaxy S10E. That’s as “small” as I’m going to get with a modern phone.

    • fela_soprano

      April 8, 2021 at 4:34 pm

It’s Android bro, there is a brand out there still making small modern phones. Alcatel, Nokia, Blu etc

I went from A10e to A01 to A10e. I guess the A02 and A12 are their next generation. The A01 was a little too laggy, even though I usually don’t mind some lag. I may check out the A12 on Black Friday. I picked up both the A01 and the A10e during that time of their respective release years for $50 each.

I swear by these cheap phones. I usually buy 2 or 3. Use one for conversion project while one is my daily and one for spare. As a daily phone, if you drop them, you really don’t mind. Can’t say the same for a flagship, though I do have Pixels, but not for daily use.
