   got mine on monday, and it’s nice. i do like how it’s so compact, it reminds me of a GBA SP. Hoping I can get emulators to run on the cover screen…if I can…it’s over!

   I hope we get a wider screen next time than 6.7 again. And wish they’d make a Chrome or Metallic Blue model, the colors are VERY boring again this year. Metallic or chrome is flashier!

    I used the Fold 4 before. Since yesterday the Flip 5. I’m in love ❤️. Beautiful device. Not perfect. The camera could be better. Not all Apps are optimized for the cover display. Overall a nice smartphone that I love to use. I noticed that I don’t have to unfold it all the time. Thanks to the lager cover display. Well done, Samsung.

    I just got my Flip 5 and love it! I actually wanted the Razr+ but I was able to get a much better deal for the Flip 5 so that’s what I got. The only way the Razr+ is better is the external display functionality, and that’s marginal. I installed Good Lock so even that isn’t a factor anymore. The Flip 5 is better in every other area and will get software updates for five years. Battery life seems decent so far. I still have my S23 as a backup which I can use in Battery Saver Mode if I need to go long stretches between charges.

    Interesting review. Tmobile had razr + for free on new and upgrades as we got ours. The refresh rate on mine is amazing and 6.9″ screen is beautiful. I switched to a foldable for the large front display which has a 144Hz refresh rate screen. I can’t tell difference between an 8+ or 2nd Gen on processor and could have cared less on how I use the phone. Having larger battery, cleaner android is more important on a devcie like this. I did not see flip 5 until after my purchase and the more durable thing reviewer talks about I didn’t feel that or get that from the live demo in store. Quite the opposite was my experience as was several others. But to each there own. I use all brands in my home currently and will continue but not a Samsung foldable fan at all. Had a z fold 4. Sold it after 8 months. For now razr will due for daily driver. Good luck to all who choose either. Lastly, I went with razr becaue Lenovo invented the 2 in 1 laptop technology (Yoga) and hinge. Tmobile had last razr with no to minimal issues vs a lot on know z flip/fold 3 and 4 hinge issues and reason I sold mine fold. Razr+ updated hinge, and front display was perfect, and tmobile promo at launch got me to buy.

      The advantage of the newer processor is battery efficiency, more than speed. The two phones are basically neck and neck in regular battery life.

    I still don’t get why Samsung kills use of Google Wallet screen closed. Very unfreindly user design and keeps me from purchasing the device.

    When Apple launches a flip I’ll be first in line. I’m unwilling to give up the ecosystem. Sorry Samsung, sure it’s great if you use Windows and don’t care 100% of your family are on Apple.

    😂😂 we really need to stop pointing our the camera weaknesses of a flip phone. Manufacturers should stop putting numbers on the cameras. I’ll bet if people didn’t know the pixel count, they would think the pics look just as good as every other phone. Just my 2 cents
