Great we get a foldable phone and now we still have to worry about breaking the screen on the cover. Best part of the foldable… protection of the inner screen… we don’t need a larger cover screen…

It’s very hard to find out screen protector for folds . This phone can’t last more than a year.

@eatitjoe ah really but trust me my friend I’ve galaxy S21 and I can’t take risk without screen protector . I wanted to purchase Z fold new series but it’s very risky without screen protector and even hard to find out . Repair is going to way to expensive and long time waiting at the same time

as seen in the ad, you can clearly see that the screen and hardware is practically the same as the fold 3. this is why i hate samsung 🙄

There is just so much they can do due to the physical limitations. As with all smartphones, we’re going to see incremental spec updates previous iteration.
If you want the more high tier specs, it’s better to go with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series. If you want a more portable device, go with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip series.

My wife and I had the Z Flip 3 for a year. One of my favorite things about it was the ability to fold it in half and slide it into my pocket. Whenever I got a notification I would use it like a pager and if it was a phone call I’d flip it open if I wanted to answer it. The battery would last me about 12hrs, but it would charge pretty fast using my 18w charging port on my USB C desk outlet. It was a good phone, but has a handful of gimmicks that not a lot people would use.

There is a hack that you can use for the Galaxy flip the Galaxy flip phone that will allow you to use the cover screen just like the open screen And yes you can watch YouTube videos just on a smaller screen and enconserve battery. Would be nice for a software upgrade what would allow you to do that without having to use exterior 3rd party applications.

Obviously the z flip 3 would have less battery life the phone folds in half! (No battery is foldable) lol
also having a smaller battery it can’t be charged at 25watts the smaller battery wouldn’t be able to handle it and would damage the battery

not appealing until it has much larger battery (4500 mah or more) and faster charging speed (50W and above), and of course, no crease!

What has to matter is the ram capacity that is higher than 8 cores and the battery that is like apple’s that lasts a whole day between movies, videos and games
