It would be cool if Samsung teamed up with car manufacturers and the ring could be used as a car key kinda like how you can use your phone as such with certain cars.
I still use my Gear S3 that i bought in 2017 and I still dont see a need to upgrade. Plus i know everything has NFC now but MST has saved me a couple of times and im not ready to gove that back up just yet. The price of the ring makes it a huge no for me and i dont mind wearing my watch at night to track me sleep. Plus I dont have to pull my phone for everything with my watch.

Add more features to smart rings and I might be tempted to buy one. Unlock my car by tapping the ring? Control my smart home with various ring gestures? Control my Roku or other streaming box? Sold Sold Sold

Im interested in the galaxy ring although it does seem a bit pricey which I could possiblh justify if it werent so incredibly thick and bulky looking. Like it stands out on your hand so much unlike an actual ring

How accurate in reality are those measurements from that ring… that’s a question that I ask myself. I wanted to buy it because I suffered from sleep apnea but you said it doesn’t track that. I don’t think this is a good investment because not see a lot of functionality

I really hate wearing a watch to track my sleep!
Plus the watch needs to be recharged too frequently.
Plus I have some extra cash to blow in tech stuff, so I guess this suite is for me.

Does anyone know if the ring still tracks your activity and stuff if your phone is turned off or is not in range of the ring? I work in an environment where I cant carry my phone with me all the time.

I watched another video where the wearer left the phone home and went for a walk and it kept track of everything and uploaded to the phone when he was back with the phone.

I think one reason to get both is that the ring or watch can split the work for readings, potentially saving battery life.
