Save your money and buy last year’s Buds +. Better battery life (for me the most important feature), and cheaper. I use them all the time (phone and PC) with no sound or mic issues.

I just lost mine…so I’m gonna buy them and see

@George Blank I just order mine and was able to get them for 150

Why would you release an earbud with 5 -10 hours of battery life without charging case?

    • Adam Bastien

      January 14, 2021 at 8:32 pm

      Money

      January 15, 2021 at 12:28 am

What do you mean “without charging case”?

    • KenSo Fuego

      January 15, 2021 at 12:30 am

@niter43 Without charging it in case when its fully charged

    • niter43

      January 15, 2021 at 12:39 am

@KenSo Fuego sorry? 5-8 hours figure is for earbuds on their own / without case. With case it’s 18/28H for ANC on/off.

As an IOS user I’ve been a big fan of the galaxy buds because I hate the style of AirPods, and I loved the fit and look of the buds.
Not taking the time to upgrade the integration or trying to be exclusive with the pro and not include them on the app is a dumb decision.
I upgraded from the original buds to the plus and I loved that it had an app. Only thing is I wished it had ANC.
    Quite disappointing…

    • Isaac

      January 14, 2021 at 6:25 pm

they’re probably gonna get added to the app just not rn

    • Michael Bryant

      January 14, 2021 at 6:59 pm

@Isaac That was the hope with the original galaxy buds. Hopefully you’re right though.

Just ordered mine. Excited to try them out hopefully they last me longer than the buds plus . ( left ear took a crap, and currently getting repaired )

Has anyone has a problem with the Galaxy Buds/Buds + losing volume in one of the buds?? I had replaced FIVE glaxay buds plus under warranty with the same issues. Had to finally give in and buy the air pods pro

    • Sam vadlamani

      January 14, 2021 at 8:37 pm

No,had no problem. Probably you got a faulty piece or maybe there is water damage by mistake.

    • Lilrick96

      January 14, 2021 at 8:43 pm

@Sam vadlamani in all 5 of them? Not possible. 3 of the replacements had the same issues happen all in within a month of replacement back to back. Best buy couldn’t figure the problem and I cleaned them regularly. Loved them things dearly but literally was let down by them everytime.

    • Sam vadlamani

      January 14, 2021 at 8:49 pm

@Lilrick96 I had bought mine from Samsung official website,6 months ago and have been using them non stop, carefully. Had no issues except for expected decline in battery life like any electronic device with lithium ion batteries. Probably the models sold to best buy by Samsung were faulty.

    • kasey

      January 15, 2021 at 12:45 am

@Lilrick96 the only common factor in all of those pairs is you ????

    • Lilrick96

      January 15, 2021 at 12:52 am

@kasey I’m doing the SAME thing with the air pods pro and haven’t had any issues. All I did with the Buds is charge them, listen to them, clean them, repeat. The same thing I do with the Air pods. What is there for me to do to have the volume go from 100% to 25-50% in only 1 bud, in all 5 replacements of them? Not a damn thing lls

  6. Norton Luna

    January 14, 2021 at 6:33 pm

I was thinking of upgrading but I have an iPhone 12 now and its not supported T.T

  7. Darth Binks

    January 14, 2021 at 6:39 pm

So if I have the Buds+ it’s not necessarily worth upgrading? The biggest thing I care about is battery life because I listen to podcasts all day in one ear

    • NileshR12

      January 14, 2021 at 9:18 pm

Yeah these have a smaller battery life so don’t bother lol

    • Enrique Pedraza

      January 14, 2021 at 10:55 pm

unless you use them to talk( enough) or care about ANC. not worth upgrading

  8. George Blank

    January 14, 2021 at 7:01 pm

You can get them for $150 if you pre order and trade in a old set of headset

Thank you for the review. I’ve just purchased Sony’s XM4 headphones and noticed the similarities, but the look of these headphones and the fact that they’re waterproof had me sold. I don’t like Apple Phones, but I love their tablets and computers. To Samsung, Apple is the enemy so I understand that it doesn’t support Apple products so…this is a no go for me. I’m very happy with my MX4 headphones. Thank you for making that decision easy for me. Though I cannot use them when working out because they’re not waterproof, but they do sync to all of my devices.

    • Perry Servius

      January 14, 2021 at 10:52 pm

Sony XM4 is fantastic. I love it

    • David Carnoy

    • niter43

They most likely had no time to roll out the update for iOS/would be added later

    Do they have onboard storage?

    • Jai Chapman

      January 14, 2021 at 11:07 pm

They haven’t had that since the Gear IconX days, when they started calling them Buds they haven’t had storage

  18. Tom Welfringer

    January 14, 2021 at 9:33 pm

I hope they expand the auto switch feature… would be awesome if it could work with windows pcs

    January 14, 2021 at 10:13 pm

Is that footage of the buds on the table with that polished rock from MKBHD? I HAVE SEEN THAT IN HIS VIDEO??

    • David Carnoy

      January 15, 2021 at 12:01 am

Samsung set up a shoot for a select media people so people ended up getting the same shots (I did not shoot that video, however, someone from our video team did).

BIXBY???? Are Samsung stupid? I mean, who EVER uses Bixby? And they still have Bixby instead of Google Assistant as the assistant of choice? Good god, wake up Samsung.
