I have mined more (and received more from fees from running a mining pool) than I ever have from purchasing. Using about $3000 worth of jury rigged hardware I (personally or via facilitating other people to mine) have brought tens of thousands of dollars worth of Monero into existence over the last 18 months.
Also- is the mighty dollar the only value in the world? What about gold that we’ve spent millennia and millions of lives warring over? No, we have many monies for many reasons.

It was reported that Hunter Biden back in 2021 had pressed SVB to put him on the board of directors but they refused because of his drug addictions and on going federal criminal investions of his chinese business dealings. So its no suprise that Joe Biden administration said no to rescuing SVB and its depositors.
