I’ve been watching these guys since I was a kid and for the longest time I thought you could get in legal trouble for mentioning a company and not clarifying they weren’t a sponsor. To the point that when I was like 10 and tried to start my own channel, I declared in several videos that I wasn’t sponsored by brands I mentioned, lmao. I honestly wasn’t totally sure whether or not it was a thing until this.

I never realized before, Link named his pets Jasper and Jade, and I named my kitty Sapphire! Crystal/gem names for pets is my favorite thing! I’ve known humans named Jasper and Jade before, so it never clicked until now!

I believe the Lore about Rhett and Link that causes the most psychic damage is when you learn they were missionaries in college and you see their campus crusade videos and “The Fabulous Bentley Brothers” and then listen to them talk about their deconstruction.
