When Reese Witherspoon was in rehearsals for her lead role in the 2005 film Walk the Line, she wanted to quit — every day. But she went on to win the Oscar for her performance as June Carter Cash. Since then, she’s gone from playing iconic roles in films (Legally Blonde, Election, Water for Elephants) to  producing and starring in her own TV shows and movies (Little Fires Everywhere, Big Little Lies, Wild). Pro tip: ham it up and BE THE VILLAIN! I have fun with my imposter syndrome. I play a mental game where I take on the role of a con man, taking glee in how they all fall, hook, line, and sinker for the illusion of my competence. It’s just one of the way I liike to inject a bit of playfulness into what is otherwise quite dreary work.

I’m surprised hearing her talk about herself in walk the line. I just watched her in The Morning Show, presumably why this popped up on my feed. Reese has always struck me as the kind of person that can do anything, I mean she is, but it’s reassuring to hear that even she has the exact same fears as everybody else. Good interview 👍

*These ministers do not represent democracy in Brazil. They have been acting against our constitution for several years. For example: Fachin (who freed Lula after convictions by several judges), Barroso (was against increasing security in our electoral system) and Moraes (commanded fraud in our electoral system and has been censoring many Brazilians). They can’t talk about freedom they’re stealing our freedom and democracy!*🇧🇷🇧🇷🙏🏾
