      Depends on the house. Relatively modern homes will have them, primarily in places like kitchens and bathrooms

      We have lower wattage outlets. About half of what is used in the UK so they don’t pose serious danger if touched accidentally

    I don’t use AC or the heater. The fridge is plugged all the time but other than that everything is typically disconnected or unplugged.
