Jeff compares the controllers, design, the games, exclusives and pretty much everything else you could ever want to know about how these consoles stack up. And of course, let’s not forget about PC gaming options either.

Theres literally no point in buying an Xbox. Get a gaming pc with game pass and a ps5 for exclusives.

Since when is fashion important when talking about consoles? It has to work. You won’t be looking at ur console and think “Oh yes baby you look soooo hot”

Well, i think it simple. when the SX is as fast as PS5 (or even a bit faster), so small and compact and so silent…..why is the PS5 so big ?
Looks like MS has a Advantage in Tech Design ?

I’m looking for power and what it looks like, because I want something that fits on my desk, so I’m not getting ps5 and I’ve never liked PlayStation, Sony just tried something and messed up

Two main reasons for me to upgrade my PS4 Pro to PS5 is
    1. to get good 4k bluray player as I just upgraded my home theater to 4k,
    2. To be ready for next generation of PSVR because PSVR has changed my playing totally. I don’t even want to play normal games anymore.

If you get the Series X, can you still join Xbox party chats with your friends online when they still have Xbox one’s?

If Sony would merge psNow with psPlus it would be more of a battle with game pass.

Its nearly impossible to get either console at this time. Unless you stood in line for 12 hrs to preorder, you probably dont have 1. Its cheaper to own a Series X with the amount of games you get in Game Pass, and also all the EA Play games, it pay for itself. I own a Series X, and the graphics are amazing for sure..The PS5 digital has less than 1TB also, and external storage cards are a few hundred bucks..

Actual space required.. depth usually isn’t the concern, it is the height and width. Xbox require min 4cm clearance for exhaust and Sony intake is from front and top.. require less top clearance. Let just add 4cm for both.. PS5 420h x104w = 43680 xbox=341h x151=51491

Absolutely, great review. No bias, straight to the point. People are going to be tribal about thier favorite console, but as a gamer my self, I’m not holding my self back. I got a PC rig, I got an Xbox SX and a PS5. I enjoy gaming. Not the noise.

In terms of surface area the ps5 is only 15% bigger than the xsx.. people are losing their fragile little minds over it.

I have a slim section behind my TV that it’ll slot perfectly into, the xsx however is too bulky in all directions to fit in.. the ps5 will also look much nicer “wall mounted”.

PC gamers have ruined console gaming forever ☹️ chasing frame rates and resolutions has given us ridiculous sized consoles.
