What’s the point of getting the discless version if it’s only a $50 difference?

    • Dos Muertes

      October 12, 2023 at 1:16 pm

If anything, it would be cheaper in the long run to get the version with the disk reader.

@Dos Muertesno one needs the disk drive

10 years later the playstore store will dissapear and discless will be useless

@B Ksome people do need it. Used game market is significant in some places. You buy used game, finish it, then sell it with pretty much the same price you bought it before.

It’s actually more 450 and if you want to add the disc drive later that’s 530 lol

I just don’t understand what they call it a PlayStation 5 “slim” if it’s not officially called PlayStation slim. It’s just a revision of the original PlayStation 5, regardless of the 30% reduction in size

    Horrible 😑

Seems like Sony could have lowered the price overall if they made just the DISKLESS VERSION & then sold the drive as an accessory! I need & use the disk drive. I like to sell games when I get bored with them.

Dont give them ideas bruh 😂. The last thing we want is everything sold separately.

Hopefully the regular PS5 will see a price drop.

Is it a serious joke PS5 Slim an ugly design?

Bots getting warmed up, they’ll be out of stock and goes for 4x on secondary market 🤑

I was hoping the slim would look nothing like the regular monster that was the ps5. Turns out it looks the same🤦🏻‍♂️. Long time PlayStation guy probably switching to Xbox due to bad design and poor pricing/availbility

Hard drive space isn’t as much of an issue with how much SSD has dropped in price to upgrade. I got a Samsung 2TB for $60 with an Amazon deal

I have the disc version but if I gonna buy a second one then buying the slim one makes more sense

Yet someone manage to make one only an inch thick ages ago .

I hate how they advertise the PS5 as having 825GB of space when that’s a flat out lie. You only get a little under 700. Why would they lie to consumers?

    • ToastKen

      October 13, 2023 at 3:13 pm

That’s not how that works boomer

    • Commandbaker333

      October 13, 2023 at 11:42 pm

@ToastKen wdym? It says 825gb on the box and you only get less than 700gb

    • Luis Rafael

      October 14, 2023 at 6:46 pm

Is not a lie…. They list the total amount of storage, not how heavy is the OS

    I LOVE MY SERIES X😂

  19. Ryan S

    October 13, 2023 at 3:09 pm

Save your money there’s no difference. Plus you’re going to be paying more for it than you did for the OG PS5 because now you gotta buy a stand that’s an extra 30 dollars

  20. Anthony

    PlayStation 6 coming in 2026😮

I hope nobody buys the digital version. Like one day the servers will go offline and you loose access to your games, kinda like what happens on ps3

  22. KLONES

    October 13, 2023 at 6:40 pm

Basically its just the one PS5 (slim) with a new feature to add-in disc..

  23. Simon Grant

    October 13, 2023 at 7:47 pm

These will overheat quicker and the disc version looks sh%%

  24. Stickytoy

    October 13, 2023 at 8:45 pm

Its not a ps5 slime is still yhe regular ps5 redesigned…

  25. Luis Rafael

    October 13, 2023 at 9:24 pm

Is NOT a play station 5 “slim”

Imm coping it after a Cuple months after it comes out

  28. IMdrewfimurr

    October 14, 2023 at 6:37 pm

Idk why people care abt it’s weight, like you’re not carrying it, there’s no point in getting it because there’s no significant upgrade

  29. Bryan Reid

    October 14, 2023 at 8:16 pm

I hope this one doesn’t that’s disc reading errors like my current that needs to be repaired.
