Flagship phone with optical fingerprint scanner? $200 phones have that. Disappointed in Google.

Actually the visor is only aluminum on the matte-finished pixel 7 – the pro has a stainless steel visor. At least from everything I’ve read.

I was talking to a sales representative at tmobile, I told him I was interested in the pixel phones he told not to get one. He said it’s the most returned phone. I have trouble believing that.. or is he right?

Not lying. However, many issues of the P6 were resolved.

Hello I’m abit confused and very disappointed to hear you mentioned the battery as one of the downsides 🙁 I especially didn’t buy the pixel 6 pro as heard battery life wasn’t great, however I thought with the tenser 2 chip it was supposed to improve battey life and even on the website it says it’s more efficient, also other reviews I watched mentioned the battery to be very good. Very shocked to hear you say pixel 6 pro has better battery?? Surely this can’t be right 🙁

Most say that battery life is very good (MKBHD, Mrwhostheboss etc.). Maybe Adaptative Battery didn’t kick in soon enough

I wish phones would have a darker brightness setting for night viewing, phones are way to bright nowadays I have a screen filter app to make the screen significantly darker

Does CNET ever give a bad review to large corporate companies…? I think not. So this makes these types of reviews moot and pointless.

As long as the heating issue on the new chip is solved, I will not hesitate to upgrade from my 6 pro given that the trade in value is 560 dollars for 256gb 6 pro. Also after applying the Google one credit I have I’m really just spending four or five hundred on this phone, which is the nicest thing ever.

“Best phone ever” sounds like a story of a boy who cried wolf. Eventually you just start ignoring it.

Saying this is the best phone Google’s ever made is like saying that the Yugo GVC is the best car Yugo ever made.

How is this a review when every youtube channel with “pixel 7 pro review” video has the same script and talking points? 90% of the video is the same.

I will be getting a new phone in the not-too-distant future and I have been weighing the advantages/disadvantages of the Pixel 7 Pro and the Samsung S22+ and the Pixel is edging ahead. It also doesn’t hurt that the Pixel’s price to performance ratio is better, too.

Bummer about the metal bar, appearing to be very scratch prone. I’m too OCD, and would not do well with that version

Battery life wise, were you already on the HD resolution instead of Full Resolution? How did those compare?
    Thanks!
