Will this ring work with iPhones?

    • @irisdominguez3996

      January 7, 2026 at 2:54 pm

I’m going to answer only because the other person was a total jerk to you. The ring can connect to a pebble, but it’s not required. So it should be able to connect to both iPhones and Android devices. The current pebble app already supports both systems, and the ring will apparently use the same app. So, short answer, yes!

The ring looks great, the burning question I have is even though it’s not chargeable is I Fix It gonna have a guide on how to replace the battery

    • @Bellsprouts69

      January 7, 2026 at 12:32 pm

I believe they plan a recycling policy. You can send your old ring to them and get a new one at a discount after many years of use

Getting the Pebble Index water-resistant to 1 meter likely means glue and/or fused plastic construction. So while it might technically be possible, battery replacement is not realistic without specialized equipment.

damn, my hair is turning silver same like him… what a comeback by Pebble / Core Devices

As an owner of a OG Pebble watch, I’m so happy to see them back! Still giving me the same kickstarter vibes from 10yrs ago!

Another piece of tech waste will only accumulate.

    • @etherspin

      January 7, 2026 at 5:43 pm

Think of it like the coin battery you throw out of your car key fob or digital watch. Considerably less e-waste there than an old calculator or your phone from ten years ago that you used for the same period of time

  8. @rdouraka

    January 7, 2026 at 1:44 pm

    Never a Pebble again

  9. @furyspec

    January 7, 2026 at 2:42 pm

Um ya..im not buying a electronic item for 75 bucks that I need to throw out in 2-3 years..

  10. @CTorres_1993

    January 7, 2026 at 2:52 pm

I still have my pebble steel. It’s in a drawer next to me. I’m happy to see that pebble is back

  11. @paulnarciso7257

    January 7, 2026 at 4:09 pm

f that was a big fan. i remember backing it on kickstarter then they sold the company. never again.

  12. @Kat01513

    January 7, 2026 at 4:33 pm

So the ring has any sensors to measure vital signs?

    • @paulhaddon7113

      January 7, 2026 at 7:34 pm

No, there are no health functions. The Pebble Index is purely for those of us that need to capture thoughts before losing them.

The guy that runs Pebble is so darn likeable.
