He much fuel do you consume per extraction ?

      That is the big question.
Burn fuel to remove plastic patch?
      Or
Just leave the plastic floating and let it affect wildlife and create micro plastics.

      Maybe nuclear powered ships? ????

Plastics polluting the ocean and fossil fuels polluting the air are two separate issues. The equivalent CO2 emitted from the ship can be offset by different methods of carbon capture elsewhere. Plastic pollution in water can only be addressed where the plastic is located.

Ships are pretty efficient. I’d be less concerned about this ship clearing things up than someone flying to a holiday destination.

Cool to see humans taking care of the planet God gave them. This was the first command – fill the earth and subdue it. It’s given to us to care for per God’s command.
