I know i will get hate for this but this will not solve the problem coz hugh amount of plastics are produced every day ….. The true solution is to regulate which products have plastics in them

Regulation will not clean the existing plastic from the oceans… this is making a damn good start.

Yes we need to make plastics from bio-degradeable oils. Like Hemp or other Plant based oils.

@@barracuda861 from what i have heard corporations don’t like hemp coz they can’t make much profit from it compared to petro chemicals coz they would have to pay farmers a good price for hemp ….. So only regulations will do something but don’t get hopes up with the government coz the lawmakers are lobbied by the petrochemicals industries

@@charaznable1131 Yes so very true. The petro ind. is the one that kept us from having Hemp as an oil. And the infrastructure has matured enough for a cheaper full scale crop. But we did get the Hemp act a step in the right direction.

      April 12, 2024 at 8:45 am

It is not very deep. Only 1-2 feet not exactly sure

      April 12, 2024 at 8:45 am

      And very slow moving

So, like a skimmer. Plastics float. Makes sense.
