  5. @yuci_daily

    March 18, 2026 at 12:26 pm

Totally perfect answer to everyone shouting out loud it’s just plain AI. It’s a tool for developers to improve their game photorealism. It doesn’t change after each play sessions.

  6. @Shovan-x1z

    March 18, 2026 at 12:27 pm

This is how a company goes down. My next graphics card will be AMD. Nvidia decide what you are gonna do AI chip or gaming 🤬🤬. RTX was innovation by Real Light Physics. Generative AI is AI slop 🤡🤡

  7. @Dr.dr134

    March 18, 2026 at 12:39 pm

NVIDIA: Am I so out of touch?
NO. It’s the gamers who are wrong.

  8. @bluestack1470

    March 18, 2026 at 12:52 pm

He actually just said that developers have control to tune the AI filter. Too bad they all chose to tune it up to 11 in their showcase. I still think that’s a cool feature, and maybe they can adjust it to prevent reaching the so feared uncanny valley.

    • @ricksanchezC0137

      March 18, 2026 at 6:19 pm

Games already look uncanny to me

    • @Hwyadylaw

      March 18, 2026 at 8:11 pm

Really the biggest problem in the showcase is the tonemapping. I assume they wanted the difference to stand out, but the effect is that the differences that stood out to people are not the ones DLSS5 is meant for

  9. @bensterbasful

    March 18, 2026 at 1:21 pm

I might get hate but I think I get what he’s saying. He’s saying DLSS 5 isn’t making games look worse it’s unlocking the ability manipulate the mesh of a model or texture. The demo poorly showed this ability but destroying the vision of the games but in the right hands this could look amazing.

    • @SynFrag

      March 18, 2026 at 2:24 pm

You got part of it. What he’s saying is that what we saw is a technical demo, it’s literally just the technology, not the application or end effect. People aren’t commenting on the technology, they are commenting on the demonstrated effect. So him saying “They’re wrong” is completely accurate.

  10. @MacBjorn

    March 18, 2026 at 2:24 pm

People complaining about more realism in games is just ridiculous. We have been asking for realism since pong and Space Invaders and now we’re complaining? This is just internet bandwagon on the “AI slop” era. Absolute tards

  11. @dnav10

Jensen is so funny – little guy in his tough leather jacket. Almost cute in a way.

    • @MajinErick

      March 18, 2026 at 4:11 pm

He said that it’s his favorite jacket, though I’m sure he replaced his original one. It was a bit smaller.

What happened with the customer is always right not the opposite

    • @Hwyadylaw

      March 18, 2026 at 8:06 pm

If a customer lies and says that the local pillow maker’s pillows are made out of dead kittens, is it not fair for the pillow maker to respond that the customer is wrong?

  15. @otakarlojkasek488

    March 18, 2026 at 3:01 pm

    Good answer

  16. @martindeleon9863

    March 18, 2026 at 3:02 pm

Gamers are wrong. You have a bunch of armchairs critics who have zero knowledge of how to implement this tech other than whats shown.

It’s pretty obvious that what they revealed is to show how far you can push it. But again, all the social media warriors have to voice their frustrations to feel validated.

  17. @TheAnimeReligion

    March 18, 2026 at 3:06 pm

The customer is wrong, 90% of the time they’re wrong, yes consumers are idiots all they do is complain even when it’s a freaking optional feature that they don’t even have to use if they don’t like it. This is what gaming needed graphics peaked in 2006. Sorry not sorry, these people have no idea what just happened here, this is breakthrough technology!

  18. @TrueTexan87

    March 18, 2026 at 3:20 pm

We want better gaming, not ai band aids that keep companies pumping out slop

  19. @pixies64

    March 18, 2026 at 3:29 pm

If they can tweek the settings for it to make it look different why didn’t they? Or did they and it’s just that bad. All of their examples looked like AI.
This is not just slop… this is M&S slop

  20. @Jack-u4k2z

    March 18, 2026 at 3:33 pm

People always get mad about things that are new and different from what they were used to, this has always been the case (even when games transitioned from 2D to 3D) and this comes to no surprise. But the reality is that DLSS 5 is completely mind blowing and will be the key to make games extremely realistic and immersive. To me games without DLSS 5 look cartoonish and give me an uncanny valley effect that gets highly minimized with DLSS 5. This is the natural progression of game rendering and will enhance the creative control of games, giving the developers deeper manipulation that hasn’t been possible before

    • @nickmickulin5865

      March 19, 2026 at 12:19 am

      Finally someone with common sense.

  21. @pixies64

  22. @SelaromMusic

    March 18, 2026 at 4:12 pm

I don’t know I feel like this is ahead of its time just like the wii u was, and regardless of whether this flops or not, it will probably be looked at as a step in the right direction in the future.

  23. @ricksanchezC0137

    March 18, 2026 at 6:18 pm

The online gaming community has had the same negative reaction with every new advancement in the past. Now DLSS 4.5 is mostly praised 😂

imagine Mid Journey and the likes of it didn’t exist to the masses. imagine this is the first time we see this Tech … the response will be totally different. Associating Ai slop to this Tech is so idiotic. you can hate Ai slop i get it, but this is not it.

  30. @ColonelSternlove

    March 19, 2026 at 4:52 am

Well explained. They released “here’s initial results without control…”. A tech demo. It was impressive and it was odd. If the developers can control it, then all will be fine.

  31. @SIPESSB

    March 19, 2026 at 4:59 am

    Gamers dont want it.
Jensen : You are wrong and will take it.
Thats not how selling a product works.
Nvidia is not for gamers anymore.

    • @ClintochX

      March 19, 2026 at 6:41 am

Alright, create an alternate product for us then

  32. @ClintochX

    March 19, 2026 at 6:45 am

I’m happy that a lot of people don’t like DLSS 5. That way they won’t buy an RTX and there would be more RTX for those that supports this features

  33. @CidtheOutlaw

    March 19, 2026 at 7:11 am

I think he is right.Time will tell how they will improve this. And how game devolopers will use it. Its very simple the want the money to succed if is not winning they are loosing money

  34. @Henbot

    March 19, 2026 at 7:42 am

It was really uncanny valley for me tbh

  35. @pennygeno5629

did they use dlss 5 over that dude’s hair? or is that dude in an identity crisis and identifies himself with the DEI crowd?

Bro, why are you wearing a leather jacket 😂

  37. @MajinErick

Aaaaaaaand here is where Nvidia stoks starts to flop.

  46. @Phil1Up_Collects

    March 20, 2026 at 3:20 am

TLDR it’s generative AI but you’re given control of it…..WELL DUH! Isn’t the person using the AI always having control of it? This is such a nothing Burger reply and it’s just a bunch of mumbo-jumbo PR nonsense coming out of his mouth to damage control. I’m quite curious to see how much the stock of Nvidia has gone down since this announcement.

  47. @IIITHRIII

They actually are wrong. Dunno what they lying to themselves about, the ai version does look better. A lot better. Haven’t seen a graphical leap of this magnitude since ps2 to ps3.

  53. @princelyijieh9825

    March 21, 2026 at 6:16 am

Y’all said I’ll never use dlss, pure raster only
Now you can’t do without it because it’s GOOD
you said Raytracing was pointless, Nvidia was right it made games better
You said Frame generation was fake frames today everyone uses it and can barely tell the difference
DLSS 4.5 was a home run
I think it’s time people wait and see what Nvidia is doing before before dropping ignorant comments
NVIDIA is not hiring highschoolers they’ve the best people working on this systems.
    2 years from now
You all will use DLSS 5 and love it Period

  54. @damiencrossley85

    March 21, 2026 at 8:56 am

Translation: I put too much money in this to fail so therefore you’re wrong! Now buy my overly expensive crap!
